Please pray that I am set free from this attack of witchcraft that has been trouble for me a very long time.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing that the battle you face is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The Scriptures are clear that witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord, and those who practice such things are detestable to Him. In Galatians 5:19-21, we read, *"Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom."* Sorcery, or *pharmakeia* in the original Greek, encompasses witchcraft, spells, and all forms of occult practice—these are works of the flesh that grieve the Holy Spirit.
Yet we take great comfort in knowing that our God is greater than any curse, spell, or attack of the enemy. In Christ, you have authority over every power of darkness, for Colossians 2:13-15 declares, *"You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* Jesus has already disarmed every spiritual force that seeks to harm you, and by His blood, you are set free!
However, we must also address this with solemn urgency: if there has been any involvement—whether willingly or through deception—in occult practices, repentance is essential. Acts 19:18-19 shows us the response of new believers who turned from such things: *"Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. They counted the price of them, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver. So the word of the Lord was growing mightily and prevailing."* True freedom comes when we turn away from darkness and cling to the light of Christ. If there are any objects, books, or ties to witchcraft in your life, they must be destroyed and renounced in the name of Jesus.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be set free, for Acts 4:12 proclaims, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* Without faith in Christ, there is no power to break the chains of darkness. But in Him, you are more than a conqueror!
Let us pray together for your deliverance and protection in the mighty name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the name above every name. We lift up Your child who is under attack by the forces of witchcraft and darkness. Lord, You have said in Your Word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that every spell, curse, hex, or assignment of the enemy against this beloved one is broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. Let every chain of bondage be shattered, and let the fire of the Holy Spirit burn away every remnant of darkness in their life.
Father, if there has been any openness to the occult—whether knowingly or unknowingly—we ask for the spirit of repentance to flood their heart. Lead them to turn away from every ungodly practice and to destroy anything that ties them to these sins. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7).
We bind every demonic spirit assigned to torment, oppress, or deceive this person. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave and never return, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Surround this beloved one with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also pray that if this one has not yet received Jesus as their Lord, You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let them see that salvation, deliverance, and eternal life are found in no other name but Jesus. Softens their heart to receive Him today, that they may be born again and walk in the authority and freedom He purchased for them on the cross.
Strengthen them, Lord, in their inner being through Your Spirit, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk worthily of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10).
We thank You, Father, for Your promise that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). We declare freedom, victory, and restoration over this life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! Amen and amen.
Beloved, we urge you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Put on the full armor of God, that you may stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11-18). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If you do not have a Bible-believing church, seek one out, for we are not meant to walk this journey alone.
If you have not yet given your life to Christ, we implore you to do so now. Pray this prayer with a sincere heart:
*"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live for You all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen."*
If you prayed that prayer, we rejoice with the angels in heaven over your salvation! Now, begin reading the Gospel of John to grow in your faith, and find a church that teaches the uncompromised Word of God. You are now a child of God, and the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you! Walk in that authority, and do not fear, for the Lord is with you.

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
