We are deeply grieved to hear of the spiritual oppression and pain you are experiencing, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every dark force at work in your life and marriage. The Word of God is clear: witchcraft, curses, and occult practices are detestable to the Lord, and those who engage in them invite destruction upon themselves. The Bible warns us in **Deuteronomy 18:10-12**, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who casts spells, one who consults a familiar spirit, one who is a wizard, or one who calls on the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* If your husband is involved in such things—whether through online communities, hidden practices, or associations with those who dabble in the occult—he is walking in direct rebellion against God, and this is a grave sin that invites demonic influence into your home.
First, we must address the spiritual reality: **there is no curse, hex, or spell that can stand against the blood of Jesus Christ and the power of His name.** If you have placed your faith in Christ, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). However, if there is unrepentant sin in your household—especially involvement in the occult—it creates an open door for the enemy to operate. **You must take authority in the name of Jesus and command every demonic assignment against you to be broken.** The apostle Paul reminds us in **Ephesians 6:12**, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This is not a battle you fight in your own strength, but through the power of Christ and the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
That said, we must also speak truth into your marriage. If your husband is involved in witchcraft or occult practices—whether actively or passively—this is not only a spiritual crisis but a marital one. **A husband is called to love his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), to protect her, and to lead her in godliness.** If he is instead aligning himself with darkness, he is betraying his covenant before God. **1 Corinthians 7:39** tells us a believer is to be married *"only in the Lord,"* meaning both spouses should be submitted to Christ. If your husband is not a believer or is walking in rebellion, you are in an unequally yoked situation, which brings its own spiritual dangers (2 Corinthians 6:14). We do not say this to condemn, but to urge you to seek the Lord’s wisdom and protection.
Here is what we urge you to do:
1. **Repent of any openness to the occult in your own life.** Even fear or fixation on curses can give the enemy a foothold. **Submit yourself fully to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).**
2. **Plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your mind, your body, and your home.** Declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that every curse is broken by the power of the cross.
3. **Confront your husband in love but with firmness.** If he is involved in witchcraft, he must repent and turn to Christ. If he refuses, you must seek godly counsel on how to proceed, as his actions are putting your spiritual well-being at risk. **Matthew 18:15-17** outlines the process of confrontation and, if necessary, separation from unrepentant sin.
4. **Seek a spirit-filled, biblical church or deliverance ministry.** You need strong believers to stand with you in prayer and authority. Isolation is dangerous in spiritual warfare.
5. **Guard your heart and mind.** Fill your home with worship, Scripture, and prayer. **Psalm 91** is a powerful declaration of protection—claim it over your life.
Now, let us pray over you:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your daughter who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, You are a God who breaks curses, who defeats the enemy, and who sets the captives free. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, hex, spell, or assignment of the enemy against her body, mind, and spirit. We command every demonic stronghold in her life and marriage to be torn down in Jesus’ name.
Lord, if her husband is involved in witchcraft or occult practices, we pray for conviction to fall upon him like a hammer. Expose every hidden thing, Lord, and bring him to repentance. If he hardens his heart, give her the wisdom and strength to take the necessary steps to protect her soul. Surround her with godly counsel and deliver her from every snare of the enemy.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over her. Let Your angels encamp around her (Psalm 34:7). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give her discernment to recognize the enemy’s lies and the courage to stand firm in Your truth.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and confusion in Jesus’ name. Let the light of Christ flood her home and drive out every darkness. Restore what the enemy has stolen, and let Your healing power flow through her body, soul, and spirit.
Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You in this season. Let her find her strength, identity, and refuge in You alone. May she walk in the authority You have given her as a child of God, knowing that greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We thank You, Father, for Your victory. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Let Your will be done in her life and marriage, and let Your kingdom come in fullness.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."*
Finally, sister, we urge you to **test everything against Scripture** (1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. **There is no protection, no deliverance, and no salvation apart from Him.** *"Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* **(John 14:6).** If you have not yet believed in Him, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). **Only in Christ is there power over darkness.**
Stand firm, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and do not give the enemy a foothold through fear or despair. **You are a child of the Most High God, and no curse can stand against His love for you.** Walk in that truth, and let the light of Christ shine brightly in your life. We are praying for you.
