We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your desire for a wise and understanding heart so that you may faithfully steward all that God has entrusted to you. The Lord delights in those who seek His wisdom above all else, and we join you in asking Him to pour out His Spirit upon you. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it shall be given to him" (James 1:5). May your heart be attuned to His voice as you seek Him with all your soul, pouring out your prayers before Him and meditating on His Word day and night.
Father, we ask that You draw near to our brother/sister as they seek You with their whole heart. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). May they hide Your Word in their heart so they might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11), and may Your promises be fulfilled in their life as they walk in obedience. We pray that they would be surrounded by godly wisdom, for as Proverbs 13:20 declares, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Lord, bring faithful believers into their life who will sharpen them in the faith and encourage them in righteousness.
We also lift up your physical ailments before the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). You are the God who formed our bodies and knows every part of us intimately (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask for complete healing in your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, your left leg and pelvis, the upper left part of your back, the lumps in your thigh and abdomen, your stomach, intestines, gastrointestinal tract, and your hoarse voice. By the stripes of Jesus, you were healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise, believing that God’s healing power will flow through every part of your body. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We also pray for your mental and spiritual trauma, asking the Lord to bind up your wounds and restore your soul (Psalm 147:3). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We break every chain of fear, anxiety, and past hurts in the name of Jesus, declaring that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the authority we have in the name of Jesus Christ. There is power in that name, and we declare healing, restoration, and wisdom over our brother/sister. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, growing in faith and trust in You. Strengthen them in their inner man, that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we ask that You would continue to draw them closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and reflect Your glory in all they do. May their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may they always give You the praise and honor due Your name. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
