We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your desire for a wise and understanding heart so that you may be a faithful steward of all God has entrusted to you. The Lord delights in those who seek His wisdom, and we join you in asking Him to grant this precious gift. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). Wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, and understanding comes from walking in His ways (Proverbs 9:10). May you seek Him with your whole heart, as you have asked, for He promises, "You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13).
