We come before the throne of grace with a heart full of faith, lifting up this earnest request for wisdom, understanding, and healing. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of approaching You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to Your presence. Lord, we acknowledge that true wisdom and understanding come from You alone, and we ask that You grant this dear one a heart that seeks You above all else.
Father, we pray that You would fulfill Your promise in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this one, that they may grow in discernment, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). May they be a faithful steward of all You have entrusted to them—time, talents, resources, and relationships—using them for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom.
We also lift up the physical ailments mentioned—teeth, eyes, leg, pelvis, stomach, intestines, and the other discomforts. Lord, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise and declare healing over every part of their body. We rebuke sickness, pain, and infirmity in the name of Jesus, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their body, restore their health, and grant them the endurance to press on in faith, knowing that You are their healer.
Father, we also pray for emotional and spiritual healing from any trauma they may be carrying. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:18 that "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Comfort them, Lord, and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and renew their mind through the washing of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26).
We encourage this one to continue seeking You with their whole heart, as Jeremiah 29:13 promises, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Delight in Your Word, meditate on it day and night (Psalm 1:2), and let it be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Walk with the wise, as Proverbs 13:20 instructs, and surround yourself with godly counsel that will sharpen and refine you.
Lord, we also remind this one that true wisdom begins with a relationship with You through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that they would do so today, confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in their heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). For those who already know You, may they grow deeper in their walk with You, bearing the fruit of the Spirit and living a life that honors You in all things.
We declare that the Word of God will be fulfilled in their life, that they will walk in divine health, wisdom, and favor, and that every attack of the enemy against them will be thwarted. We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
