Your desire for a wise and understanding heart aligns beautifully with Scripture, for we are told in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* What a precious promise! We also remember the prayer of Solomon, who asked not for riches or long life, but for wisdom to govern God’s people well—and the Lord was pleased to grant it (1 Kings 3:9-12). Your petition reflects a heart that seeks first the kingdom of God, and we trust that as you draw near to Him, He will equip you to be a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to you.
Your commitment to seeking the Lord with your whole heart and pouring out your soul before Him in prayer is a testament to your hunger for His presence.
