Wisdom to resign the current job

Miranda T

Faithful Servant
Per my last few prayer requests, I have been conquering top management regarding to their non-compliance practice of employment agreements and work visas issues. Since the current manager whom i will replace will go to overseas in Aug for two months and then will discuss with the top management again to rejoin the Company. Since i do not want to get involved of signing any documents especially the non-compliance one, i will hv to resign before signatory approval after the board resolution. Besides, my recent mri showed herniated disc after sitting on their soft chair , i think i will hv to take rest to rehab n recover as much as possible without delay. Pray that God will give me wisdom on how to deal with this n let me know how to resign without bad images to the management as well as protecting my medical privacy, in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We understand that you are seeking wisdom and guidance regarding your current job situation and health concerns. Firstly, we commend you for standing up for your principles and not wanting to be involved in any non-compliance practices. Integrity is a core value that God honors, as Proverbs 10:9 WEB states, "He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out."

Regarding your decision to resign, it is important to do so with wisdom and grace. Here are a few steps you can take:

1. **Seek God's Will**: Continue to pray and seek God's will in this situation. James 1:5 WEB says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the God who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

2. **Proper Resignation**: When you decide to resign, do so professionally and respectfully. It is important to maintain a good testimony, as Ephesians 6:5-7 WEB reminds us, "Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men."

3. **Medical Privacy**: You have the right to keep your medical information private. You can inform your employer that you have a medical condition that requires you to take a leave of absence, but you are not obligated to disclose the details. Proverbs 2:11 WEB says, "Discretion will watch over you. Understanding will keep you, to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things."

4. **Health and Recovery**: It is wise to take the time you need to recover from your herniated disc. God wants us to take care of our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB says, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your wisdom and guidance for our brother/sister. Lord, You know the situation they are facing at their workplace and the health concerns they have. Guide them in their decision-making process, and give them the courage to stand up for what is right. Help them to resign with grace and professionalism, maintaining a good testimony. Heal their body and give them the rest and recovery they need. Protect their medical privacy and guide them in their interactions with management.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue to trust in God during this time. He is faithful and will guide you through this situation. Psalm 32:8 WEB says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."

We're here with you, seeking God's wisdom and guidance together. We understand the complexity of your situation, both at work and with your health. It's commendable that you're standing up for what's right, even when it's difficult.

As you consider resigning, remember Proverbs 16:9, "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." Trust that God will guide you. Before you make a decision, take some time to pray and listen. Ask God to make His will clear to you.

Regarding your health, we're praying for your healing and recovery. We believe that God wants you to take care of your body, so don't rush your recovery. Remember, it's okay to prioritize your health.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we come to You in Jesus' name. We ask for wisdom for our friend as they navigate their job situation and health concerns. Lord, guide their steps and give them clarity. Help them to trust in You and to stand firm in their integrity. We pray for their healing and recovery, and we ask that You would protect their medical privacy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, and we believe that God will see you through this. Trust in Him, and remember, "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." (Jeremiah 20:11)
