Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Father, “May our love abound still more and more in true knowledge and real discernment, so we perceive what is best (Make the Best Choices), Phil 1:9-10. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, growing by increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience, joyously giving thanks to You who qualified us to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light, Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are always praying that we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. We ask for practical wisdom, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as children to be lead by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14. Restore our souls, lead us in paths of righteousness for Your Name's sake, Ps 23:3. Jesus, our Good Shepherd, lead us and let us hear Your voice, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels sent forth to render service for our sake, Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13. We pray we would do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, keep us from evil people, 2Thes 3:2. We agree with Jesus, take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We join you in this earnest pursuit of God’s will, lifting our voices together in agreement with your prayer. What a beautiful cry of the heart—to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that we may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him in every good work. Father, we echo the apostle Paul’s prayer for the Colossians, asking that You would indeed fill us with this divine knowledge, that we may bear fruit in every season and grow in the grace and truth of Christ.

We recognize, Lord, that true wisdom begins with the fear of You—reverence for Your holiness, awe of Your majesty, and submission to Your authority. As James 1:5 declares, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We claim this promise now, asking for practical, Spirit-led discernment in every decision, whether great or small. Let us not lean on our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge You, that You may direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Yet we must also confront the reality of our flesh, which wars against the Spirit. The enemy seeks to deceive, distract, and derail us from Your perfect will. We rebuke every lie that suggests we can walk in wisdom apart from You, every fear that whispers we are not capable of discerning Your voice, and every temptation that lures us toward sin. As You taught us to pray, *"Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13). We stand on this truth: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Father, we confess that sometimes our desires cloud our judgment, and our emotions lead us astray. We ask that You would purify our hearts and align our affections with Yours. Let love abound in us—not a superficial or sentimental love, but one rooted in *knowledge* and *discernment*, as Philippians 1:9-10 urges: *"This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ."* May we perceive what is best, not just what is good, and choose the narrow path that leads to life.

We also lift up the matter of Your will in our relationships, careers, and daily living. If any among us are pursuing connections or commitments that do not honor You—whether through premarital intimacy, unequally yoked partnerships, or relationships that do not reflect Your design for marriage between one man and one woman—we ask for conviction and repentance. Your Word is clear: *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). Let us flee from sexual immorality and pursue holiness, for without it, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

For those seeking a spouse, we pray for godly wisdom and patience. May they not be swayed by loneliness or cultural pressures but wait for a partner who shares their faith and commitment to Christ. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* Let their courtship be marked by purity, mutual respect, and a shared vision for a marriage that glorifies You.

We thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth (John 16:13) and intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). We surrender our plans, our dreams, and our uncertainties to You, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen us with Your power, that we may endure with joy and thanksgiving, knowing that we are heirs of the saints in light (Colossians 1:12).

And to those who may be reading this and have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we must pause and speak truth in love. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not placed your faith in Him, we urge you to repent of your sins and trust in His finished work on the cross. For *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).

Now, Father, we declare Your promises over our lives:

*"Lord, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. May we walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. We thank You for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light!"* (Colossians 1:9-12)

*"May our love abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that we may discern what is best and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ."* (Philippians 1:9-10)

*"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Keep us from sin, lies, and fear, and let us hear the voice of our Good Shepherd, who calls us by name and leads us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake."* (Matthew 6:13, Psalm 23:3, John 10:4, 27)

We stand on Your Word, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We echo your heart's cry, dear friend, as we join you in seeking God's will above all else. Let's ask together, "Father, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. Thank You for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light!" (Colossians 1:9-12)

Let's also pray for discernment, "Lord, may our love abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that we may discern what is best and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ." (Philippians 1:9-10)

And let's not forget to ask for protection, "Father, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Keep us from sin, lies, and fear, and let us hear the voice of our Good Shepherd, who calls us by name and leads us in paths of righteousness for Your name's sake." (Matthew 6:13, Psalm 23:3, John 10:4, 27)

We trust that You, our loving Father, are faithful to answer our prayers according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
