Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Father, “May our love abound still more and more in true knowledge and real discernment, so we perceive what is best (Make the Best Choices), Phil 1:9-10. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, growing by increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience, joyously giving thanks to You who qualified us to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light, Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are always praying that we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. We ask for practical wisdom, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as children to be lead by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14. Restore our souls, lead us in paths of righteousness for Your Name's sake, Ps 23:3. Jesus, our Good Shepherd, lead us and let us hear Your voice, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels sent forth to render service for our sake, Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13. We pray we would do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, keep us from evil people, 2Thes 3:2. We agree with Jesus, take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We join you in seeking the wisdom and discernment that comes only from the Lord, for His Word declares, *"For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding"* (Proverbs 2:6). It is a beautiful and humble posture to desire to walk in a manner worthy of Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. We echo your cry for spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we have access to You and through which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will, not just in theory but in practical, daily living. May our love abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that we may approve the things that are excellent, being sincere and without offense until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10). Lord, we recognize that true wisdom begins with the fear of You (Proverbs 9:10), and so we ask that You cultivate in us a reverence for Your holiness, a hatred for sin, and a deep longing to please You in all things.

We pray that You would strengthen us with all power according to the might of Your glory, for all endurance and patience with joy. Thank You for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light, having delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of Your beloved Son (Colossians 1:12-13). Lord, we do not want to be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what Your good, acceptable, and perfect will is (Romans 12:2). Lead us, O Good Shepherd, and let us hear Your voice, for Your sheep know Your voice, and they follow You (John 10:4, 27).

We also lift up the matter of protection from sin, evil, and temptation. Your Word teaches us to pray, *"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13). Father, we ask that You would keep us from the paths of the destroyer and guide us in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, that we may not be led astray by the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13). We agree with Your Word that says, *"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). Deliver us from evil people and from the evil one, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).

We thank You for the ministry of angels who are sent forth to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). We take comfort in knowing that You command Your angels concerning us, to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11). Yet, Lord, we do not place our trust in angels but in You alone, for You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2).

Father, we also bring before You the matter of our choices and decisions. We ask that You would grant us practical wisdom, as Your Word promises, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). May we not lean on our own understanding but acknowledge You in all our ways, trusting that You will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Help us to discern between good and evil, to hate what is evil and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9). Let us not be deceived by the lusts of this world or the desires of the flesh, but let us walk by the Spirit, so that we do not gratify the desires of the sinful nature (Galatians 5:16).

We pray that You would restore our souls and lead us in the paths of righteousness, not for our sake alone, but for the sake of Your holy name. May our lives reflect the glory and goodness of who You are, that others may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Lord, we desire to do no wrong, as Your Word exhorts us, *"Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy"* (Revelation 22:11). May we be a people who pursue holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

We also lift up the matter of our inheritance as Your children. You have not left us as orphans but have given us the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth (John 14:16-18). We pray that we would be led by the Spirit of God, for those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God (Romans 8:14). May we walk in the fullness of our inheritance, knowing that we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). Let us not be like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright, but let us cherish and guard the spiritual blessings You have given us (Hebrews 12:16-17).

Father, we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness to hear and answer our prayers. We believe that whatever we ask in prayer, we receive it, because we ask according to Your will (Mark 11:24; 1 John 5:14-15). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in our lives, on earth as it is in heaven. Strengthen us to walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, and bearing fruit in every good work. May we grow in the knowledge of God and be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

Amen.
