Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, as Your Word teaches us to pray (Matthew 6:13). Guard our hearts and minds with the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, and let Your favor be a shield around us (Psalm 5:12). Keep us from sin, lies, and fear, and deliver us from the evil one and those who would seek to harm us. We pray not to be taken out of the world but to be kept from the evil one, just as Jesus prayed for His disciples (John 17:15).
Lord, we thank You in advance for the answers to this prayer, trusting in Your promises, for all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). May we walk in the fullness of Your will, bearing fruit that glorifies You, and may our lives reflect the love, wisdom, and discernment that come from abiding in You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, we have no access to the Father, no forgiveness of sins, and no hope of eternal life. We pray that all who seek Your face would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
