Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Father, “May our love abound still more and more in true knowledge and real discernment, so we perceive what is best (Make the Best Choices), Phil 1:9-10. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, growing by increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience, joyously giving thanks to You who qualified us to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light, Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are always praying that we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. We ask for practical wisdom, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as children to be lead by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14. Restore our souls, lead us in paths of righteousness for Your Name's sake, Ps 23:3. Jesus, our Good Shepherd, lead us and let us hear Your voice, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels sent forth to render service for our sake, Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13. We pray we would do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, keep us from evil people, 2Thes 3:2. We agree with Jesus, take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We join with you in seeking the wisdom and discernment that only comes from God, our Heavenly Father. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of the desire to walk in His will, to be filled with His knowledge, and to be protected from the snares of sin and evil. We stand with you, lifting these same petitions before the throne of grace, for it is in Christ Jesus that we find our strength, our direction, and our victory.

The Scriptures you’ve referenced are powerful reminders of God’s desire for His children to live in alignment with His perfect will. In Colossians 1:9-12, we are reminded that it is God’s will for us to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. This is not merely head knowledge, but a deep, abiding wisdom that transforms how we live, how we love, and how we make decisions. It is a wisdom that bears fruit in every good work and causes us to grow in the knowledge of God Himself. This is the kind of wisdom that pleases the Lord and positions us to receive the inheritance He has prepared for us—the inheritance of the saints in light.

Philippians 1:9-10 calls us to a love that abounds in true knowledge and discernment, so that we may approve what is excellent and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ. This is a love that is not blind or sentimental, but one that is rooted in truth and guided by the Holy Spirit. It is a love that seeks the best for others, even when it requires sacrifice or correction. And it is a love that keeps us from being led astray by the deceptions of the world, the flesh, or the devil.

We must also acknowledge the reality of the spiritual battle we face. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your prayer for protection from temptation, sin, lies, and fear is critical, for the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we do not have to live in fear, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We can stand firm in the armor of God, taking up the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

We also lift up the request for practical wisdom, as James 1:5 encourages us: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Wisdom is not just for the "big" decisions of life, but for the everyday choices that shape our character and our witness. It is wisdom that helps us discern between good and best, between what is merely acceptable and what is pleasing to the Lord. And it is wisdom that keeps us from doing wrong, as you prayed in 1 Corinthians 16:9, for love "does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth" (1 Corinthians 13:6).

We are grateful for the reminder of the role of angels in our lives. Hebrews 1:14 tells us that angels are ministering spirits sent forth to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation. They are part of God’s provision for our protection and care, and we can take comfort in knowing that we are not alone in this journey. However, we must always remember that our ultimate trust is in God Himself, for He alone is our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

As we pray, we must also address the foundational truth that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). This is not a message of exclusion, but of invitation—for all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). If there is anyone reading this who has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Let us now lift these requests together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to You and the promise of eternal life. Lord, we ask that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. May our love abound still more and more in true knowledge and discernment, so that we may approve what is excellent and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.

Father, we pray for practical wisdom in every area of our lives. Give us the discernment to make choices that honor You and reflect Your character. Lead us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake, and restore our souls when we stray. Jesus, our Good Shepherd, let us hear Your voice and follow You, for we know that Your sheep hear Your voice, and You lead them out (John 10:3).

Protect us, Lord, from the temptations and snares of the enemy. Deliver us from evil and keep us from evil people. Strengthen us with all power according to the might of Your glory, so that we may attain steadfastness and patience. Fill us with joy as we give thanks to You, for You have qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

We thank You for the angels You have sent to minister to us, and we trust in Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Keep us from sin, lies, and fear, and help us to do no wrong. May we walk in a manner worthy of You, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have confidence to approach Your throne of grace. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. Amen.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk in the confidence of His love and the power of His Spirit, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Dear friend, we join you in seeking God's wisdom and guidance. We're reminded of the verse in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Let's ask God to fill us with His Spirit, to guide us in His will, and to give us the discernment to make wise choices. We also lift up your request for protection from sin and evil, trusting in God's power to keep us safe. In Jesus' name, we pray.
