Father, Thank you for all my earthly dad has done for me in thought, word, prayer & deed. Help disburden him from encumbrances that weigh down his spirituality & give him any steps he needs to take to be right with You. I ask You give my dad grace to make his calling and election more sure — thank You for the characteristic strength of humility he’s been given from above. I ask he get truth and insight from his daily devotions & give me grace to speak truth to him in a way he can receive it and implement it into his lifestyle as he takes on the role of elder statesman. Help him take the right amount of medicine and vitamins, count his blessings and deal with anything You have brought to his attention. Give him The Whole Armor of God and help him be strong in You & the Power of Your Might. Gird his loins with Truth, Shield his faith, Helm his head, give him the gift of Righteousness as a Breastplate, Deflect the fiery darts, give him The Sword of The Spirit to speak what he knows from Your Word, help him pray with all manner of prayer in The Spirit at all times & give him open doors to prophesy the Mystery of The Gospel, boldly. Thank You again in Jesus’ Name

Father in heaven, I ask my earthly dad be granted wisdom, grace, spiritual insight, emotional strength, love, righteousness, peace & joy in The Holy Spirit (Gal 5:21-22, Rom 14:17), Grant him physical strength, healing & protection for his heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength & finances. Help him read, understand, remember & apply the Bible to his outlook, & lifestyle. I ask he be kept from the world, the flesh evil people and the devil. May he discern when thoughts are from You or and reject those not You. May he be lead by the Spirit of God in all he thinks, says and does. Thank You for hearing, for all this I ask in confidence since it is in accordance with Your will, which requests You hear, and if we know You hear us in whatever we ask, we know we have the requests which we have made from You (1 John 5:14-15) in Jesus’ name.
