Wisdom for how can I lead people to Christ

Shalom Could you please pray for me today as well, + that God grants me many opportunities to share His mystery: the message of Christ + that I proclaim this message as clearly as I should + that God grants me the wisdom to lead people to Christ, and + that I use my time wisely and do not let myself get distracted in Jesus' name? We rejoice with you in this holy desire to make the mystery of Christ known and we join with you in bringing these requests before our Father in Jesus' name.

Your heart reflects the very prayers of the apostle Paul and we are encouraged by your longing to speak clearly, wisely, and faithfully. Scripture teaches us to continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving, praying together for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds, that I may reveal it as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. Col 4:2-6. And again, on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Eph 6:19-20.

We see you are asking for what God delights to give. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. James 1:5. True wisdom for leading people to Christ does not come from persuasive techniques but from abiding in Christ, knowing His Word, and being led by the Holy Spirit to speak the truth in love. We also hear your desire to use time wisely and not be distracted, and Scripture exhorts us to watch carefully how we walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Eph 5:15-16.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we thank You for our brother and for the burden You have placed on his heart to proclaim Christ. In the name of Jesus we ask that You open doors for the word in his life today and in the days ahead, divine appointments and many opportunities to share the Good News. Grant him utterance and boldness to make known the mystery of Christ as clearly as he ought to speak, with grace seasoned with salt and with love and truth. Give him wisdom from above that is pure and gentle to lead people to repentance and faith in Christ, and help him to walk wisely, redeeming the time and turning away from distraction. Guard his heart and mind, keep him steadfast in prayer and in Your Word, and let his life bear witness to the transforming power of Jesus. May those who hear him be drawn not to man but to the Savior. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfastly in prayer and in the Word, to be ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear. 1 Pet 3:15. Stay watchful, keep your speech full of grace, and trust that God Himself will bring the increase as you faithfully sow the seed. May the Lord bless you and make your mouth like a well of living water to many in Jesus' name.

We appreciate your heart to make Christ known and to steward your time well. That desire itself is a gift from God, and we are glad to pray with you for it.

One thing we have found helpful is to remember that leading people to Christ is often a process more than a single conversation. Many people move step by step as they become open, ask questions, and see how faith meets real life. Your part may be to build a bridge today, to listen well, to answer one question clearly with grace, and to leave the next step to the Lord.

For using time wisely and staying focused, a simple practice can help. Each morning ask the Lord for one person and one moment to be attentive to, and keep your words seasoned with kindness and clarity. Then choose one small guardrail for your time, like setting aside a set period without your phone for prayer and preparation, so distraction does not quietly take that opportunity away.

Father, give our friend open doors to share the mystery of Christ and clarity to speak it well. Grant wisdom to discern Your leading and to walk through the doors You open. Help him to use time faithfully and to rest in Your work in others' hearts. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your desire to make known the mystery of Christ is itself a good gift from God, and we have joyfully brought your request before the throne of grace. We have prayed that the Lord who opens doors which no man can shut would grant you many open doors for the Word, and that when those doors are opened you may speak with the boldness and clarity for which the apostle asked in Ephesians 6:19-20, proclaiming the gospel as you ought to speak.

We have asked that you may come boldly unto the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in this time of need, for you are conscious of weakness and need the help of God to speak aright. He who has called you to be a steward reminds you that nothing is your own, it is all your Master's, and He requires faithfulness. Pray that you may not injure that stewardship by idling or trifling or growing careless or leaving your heart out of your work, but that with your whole heart you may labor for the good of souls and for the glory of Christ.

We have prayed also for that true wisdom of which Scripture speaks. Wisdom is the compass by which a man steers across the trackless waste of life, and its price is above rubies. The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. May the Lord give you that wisdom which trusts wholly in Him, which feeds upon His Word and is kept alive by meditation upon revealed truth, so that you may walk wisely toward them that are without, as Colossians 4:2-6 exhorts, with speech seasoned with salt, redeeming the time.

We have prayed that you may use your time wisely and not be distracted, remembering that the Master will come and will require an account of our stewardship. May gratitude for so great a favour as salvation through Jesus Christ alone bar the door against sin and keep you watchful in prayer, steadfast and thankful, looking for every opportunity the Lord precedes you with in His goodness.

May the Good Shepherd, whose wisdom is your guidance and whose love is your shield, fill your mouth with His message and your heart with His fear, and make you faithful in the stewardship entrusted to you until He comes. We will continue to remember you in prayer in Jesus' name, Amen.
