🙏 Wisdom: Choose Best Way, Do God's Will, Col 1:9-12, Assurance, Col 4:12; Love Abounds, Discernment, Phil 1:9-10; Prevent Sin & Evil, Matt 6:13... 🙏 Father, “May our LOVE abound more and more in all knowledge and true discernment, so we distinguish between good and best and make the Best Choices consistently, Phil 1:9-10. "Fill me with this knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so our walk emulates Christ, pleases You all the time and so every good work is fruitful. Let us grow as we know You and Your word more intimately; and be joyful and more grateful that we have the opportunity to have eternal life shared with all our truly sanctified brothers and sisters in light of life," Col 1:9-11.

Father, we ask for that "blessed assurance" and the confidence of knowing that we know," Col 4:12. I'm a little light on practical wisdom, so I ask for generous amounts of it, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7. I especially appreciate that part of our inheritance that as many as are led by Your Holy Spirit are children of God, Rom 8:14 -- we absolutely need to hear Your voice Lord Jesus, Jn 10:27, as You lead us in paths of righteousness for Your Name's sake, Ps 23:3.

Thanks for angels that do "render service for our sake,” Heb 1:14, and keep us in all our ways, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9, keep us from evil, Matt 6:13, from evil people & the evil one, 2Thes 3:2-3. Take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, cause faith makes You happy, Luke 7:9, and pleases You, Heb 11:6. With thanksgiving we let our requests be known so the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2. We are glad all the promises of God are yes and amen in Him, Cor 1:20! In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your earnest desire to walk in wisdom, discernment, and alignment with God’s perfect will. Your prayer reflects a deep longing to live a life that pleases the Lord, and we join with you in seeking His face for these very things. It is beautiful to see your hunger for spiritual growth, your reliance on Scripture, and your trust in the leading of the Holy Spirit. Let us lift this request together, standing on the promises of God and asking Him to fulfill His word in your life.

We are reminded of the apostle Paul’s prayer for the Colossians, which mirrors your own heart: *"For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God"* (Colossians 1:9-10 WEB). This is not merely a prayer for knowledge, but for a wisdom that transforms how we live—how we speak, how we love, how we make decisions, and how we resist the schemes of the enemy. Father, we ask that You would fill this dear one with this same wisdom, that their life would be a living testament to Your goodness and grace.

You have also asked for an abundance of love that abounds in knowledge and discernment, as Paul prayed for the Philippians: *"This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ"* (Philippians 1:9-10 WEB). Lord, we echo this prayer. Let love not be blind or sentimental, but rooted in truth and sharpened by discernment. May this love guide every choice, every word, and every interaction, so that nothing is done out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility, considering others as better than ourselves (Philippians 2:3). Let this love be a shield against bitterness, a light in darkness, and a testimony to the world of the transforming power of Christ.

You have rightly acknowledged your need for practical wisdom, and we rejoice in your humility to ask for it. James assures us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5 WEB). Proverbs also declares, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity"* (Proverbs 2:6-7 WEB). Father, we ask that You would open the eyes of this one’s heart to see the path You have set before them. Give them the courage to walk in it, even when it is narrow or unpopular. Let them not lean on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge You, so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also lift up your desire to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, for as you noted, *"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God"* (Romans 8:14 WEB). Jesus Himself said, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"* (John 10:27 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would tune this one’s ears to Your voice above all others. Let them recognize the gentle whisper of Your Spirit, the conviction of sin, the prompting to pray, and the guidance in decisions. May they walk in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3), and may Your word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

Your prayer also reflects a deep awareness of the spiritual battle we face, and we stand with you in asking for protection from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13 WEB). We take hold of this promise and declare it over your life. Lord, we ask that You would station Your angels around this one, as You have promised: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone"* (Psalm 91:11-12 WEB). Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let the enemy’s plans be thwarted in the name of Jesus.

We also pray for a hedge of favor around this one, as the psalmist declares: *"For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield"* (Psalm 5:12 WEB). May doors of opportunity swing open that no man can shut, and may the favor of God rest upon every area of their life—family, work, ministry, and relationships. Let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are their shield and exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).

Father, we thank You for the assurance of Your promises, for as Paul wrote, *"For however many are the promises of God, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen,” to the glory of God through us"* (2 Corinthians 1:20 WEB). We stand on these promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in this one (Philippians 1:6). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let their requests be made known to You (Philippians 4:6).

We also want to encourage you to continue saturating your mind and heart with Scripture. The psalmist wrote, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105 WEB). The more we know God’s word, the more we will recognize His voice and the easier it will be to discern His will. Meditate on it day and night, and let it shape your thoughts, words, and actions. Let it be the filter through which you view every decision, every relationship, and every trial.

In all of this, we must also address the importance of walking in holiness and obedience. The enemy seeks to devour those who are not vigilant (1 Peter 5:8), and sin creates openings for his attacks. We are called to be holy, for God is holy (1 Peter 1:16). This means fleeing from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), putting away lies (Ephesians 4:25), and resisting the temptations of the flesh. If there are areas in your life where you have compromised, we encourage you to repent and turn away from them. Confess your sins to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let us not give the enemy a foothold, but instead, let us put on the full armor of God so that we can stand against his schemes (Ephesians 6:11).

Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of community. You are not meant to walk this journey alone. Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching"* (WEB). Surround yourself with godly men and women who will sharpen you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Let them speak truth into your life, even when it is hard to hear. And in turn, be that kind of friend to others.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing that You hear our prayers and that You are already at work in this situation. We ask that You would pour out Your wisdom, discernment, and love upon this dear one. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Let their love abound more and more in knowledge and discernment, so that they may approve the things that are excellent. Protect them from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We pray that You would tune their ears to hear Your voice and give them the courage to follow where You lead. Let them walk in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake, and may their life bear much fruit for Your kingdom. We thank You for the assurance of Your promises and for the confidence we have in Christ. May this one grow in the knowledge of You, and may their life bring glory and honor to Your name.

We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are forgiven and made righteous. We thank You for the gift of salvation and for the privilege of coming before Your throne with boldness (Hebrews 4:16). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

Father, we stand with you in seeking wisdom, discernment, and assurance in our walk with You. We're reminded of the apostle Paul's words in Colossians 1:9-12, where he prayed for the Colossians to be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

We echo this prayer for ourselves and for our dear brother/sister in Christ. Fill us, Lord, with this same wisdom that transforms our lives, guiding our words, our love, our decisions, and our resistance against the enemy's schemes. Let our love abound more and more in knowledge and discernment, so that we may approve what is excellent and live a life that pleases You.

We also ask for an abundance of love that abounds in knowledge and discernment, as Paul prayed for the Philippians. Let our love not be blind or sentimental, but rooted in truth and sharpened by discernment. May this love guide every choice, every word, and every interaction, so that nothing is done out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility, considering others better than ourselves.

We acknowledge our need for practical wisdom, and we're grateful for your promise in James 1:5, that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to us. We ask, Father, for generous amounts of wisdom, especially for our dear brother/sister in Christ, who is seeking to make wise choices.

We thank You for the assurance of Your promises, for as Paul wrote, however many are the promises of God, in Him we say "Amen" to the glory of God through us. We stand on these promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
