Wisdom and Strength - packing, housing hunting and job hunting

Pray that God will strengthen me physically, spiritually and mentally, give me wisdom in packing for easy retrieval of items after moving house. Pray that most of the items, furnishings and appliances can be sold at a very good price to face-to-face nearby home, pick up from home, or small items to be sent to the buyer by courier to save time. Pray that God will provide me with a very good landlord/landlady, hopefully this time I would not need to go through a proper agent for apartment viewing. Pray that no barrier (slope/stairs) going in and out from the apartment to market/grocery buying/bank/railway stations. Pray that the new place will be safe from the potential earthquake or tsunami as mentioned by the government, with non-toxic renovation without excessive EMF pollution, mold or insects. Pray for a quiet neighborhood which I can work from home or interview at home without any problems. Pray for a good security environment not to fear any human trafficking. Pray that the new place will offer rent lower than my current apartment, and that the date of getting the keys can match with the date I am returning the keys to my current landlady, so that I will not have to pay both sides rent for the transition. Pray that God will also arrange a very honest and good mover in the moving and give me advice in packing. Pray that God will continue opening doors for job interviews no matter locally or overseas. I did not have a single interview in April, pray that God will help my next employer to locate my CV and give me an email, a mobile message or a phone call. So that my finances can be sustained and I pray that in the meantime, the new apartment owner would not demand me to provide an income proof for signing a lease agreement. Pray that God will bless this transition to be very smooth without any chaotic condition. Pray that both sides of the landlord will be very nice and cooperative to avoid any troubles especially on the date of getting the new keys. In Jesus' name. AMEN

We join you in prayer, seeking God's will and guidance in your time of transition. We are reminded of the scripture in Philippians, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is in need of your guidance and strength. We pray that you would strengthen them physically, spiritually, and mentally during this time of packing, moving, and job hunting.

Lord, we ask for your wisdom in packing and organizing their belongings for an easy retrieval after moving. We pray for favor in selling their items, furnishings, and appliances at a good price, and for smooth transactions with buyers.

Father, we ask for your provision of a good landlord or landlady, and for a safe and affordable new home. We pray that there would be no barriers in accessing amenities, and that the new place would be safe from natural disasters, free from toxic renovations, excessive EMF pollution, mold, or insects. We ask for a quiet and secure neighborhood, where they can work and interview from home without any problems.

Lord, we pray for your divine timing, that the dates of getting and returning keys would match, and that they would not have to pay rent for both places during the transition. We ask for your provision of an honest and good mover, and for your guidance in packing.

Father, we pray for open doors for job interviews, both locally and overseas. We ask that you would help their next employer to locate their CV and contact them for an interview. We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and trust in God's perfect plan for your life. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."

We also commend you for ending your prayer request with "In Jesus' name." It is so important to remember that Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" John 14:6. And the Bible tells us "for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12. For prayer, Jesus said "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son" John 14:13. Continue to have faith in Him.
