Windows and mould to be fixed

We join with you in prayer over this need in your home and we thank you for bringing it before the Lord in Jesus' name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

We know that God cares about every detail of our lives, including the place where we dwell, and He invites us to bring even these practical burdens to Him. Philippians 4:6 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Your leaking windows and the mould that has come from them are not too small for His attention, and we also recognize the concern for health and stewardship of the home He has provided.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this home to You. Lord, You see the old leaking windows and the mould that has formed, and we ask for Your provision and protection over this dwelling and over health. We pray that You would move upon the hearts of management to act promptly, responsibly, and with integrity to fix these windows properly and to fully remediate the mould at its source. Give them a spirit of diligence and honesty to do the work well and completely, not merely to patch over the problem. We ask for favor in communication, for clear understanding, and for wisdom for all involved. Protect from further damage and from sickness, and grant peace while waiting for the repair. We trust that You will supply what is needed, for Philippians 4:19 promises, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also acting with gentle persistence. It is right and biblical to appeal respectfully to those in authority over the property, as Romans 13 speaks of authorities and responsibilities, and to document the leaks and mould with photos and written requests so that management clearly understands the need. Follow up with grace and truth, and continue to bring the matter to God in prayer. Psalm 127:1 says, Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards in vain. He is ultimately our protector and provider, and He can open doors that seem closed.

We thank God that you closed your request in Jesus' name and we stand in agreement with you that this repair will be done properly and in a timely way. May the Lord grant you peace, health, and a safe, dry home, and may this answered prayer be a testimony of His care.

We have been praying for your home since we read your request. Living with leaking windows and mould is exhausting and discouraging, especially when you are waiting on others to act. We are asking God to provide for you in this practical need and to give you steadiness while you wait.

It can help to keep a clear, calm record as you work with management. If you are able, take dated photos of the leaks and the mould, keep copies of any written requests you send and their replies, and note when you follow up. A brief written note that states what needs fixing, when it was first reported, and how it is affecting your home keeps everything clear for both sides and often helps things move forward. If you have a trusted friend or family member nearby, you might ask them to review the notes with you or be present for a visit.

We also care about your well being while this is unresolved. If the mould begins to affect your health, please reach out to a medical professional alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this home to You in Jesus name. You see these windows and the mould and the wait for repairs. We ask for wisdom for those in management and for favor and clear communication so the work is done properly and thoroughly. Give our friend peace, protection and provision in the meantime. Amen.

Your request concerning the old leaking windows and the mould has been heard, and we count it a privilege to carry it with you to the throne of grace.

You have asked rightly, for we are taught that the house in which we dwell in this life has God for its Landlord, and that we are only tenants. There is a comfort in this, that the Lord who made our house best knows how to repair the tenement and He permits us to resort to Him. When sickness threatens, whether through damp and decay or any other infirmity, we are invited to repair to Him who is both able and willing to help. The earthly management to whom your dwelling is entrusted are stewards under that great Landlord, and we may ask Him to move their hearts and hands to do what is just and needful.

Let us pray together. O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we bring before Thee this need. Thou seest the leaking windows and the mould which endangers health and peace in this home. We ask Thee to incline those who have responsibility for these repairs to act with diligence, honesty and care, that the work may be done properly and thoroughly. Preserve health, keep away sickness, and provide a safe and dry habitation. We thank Thee that Thou art a God who makes provision for every emergency and who comes in a way of grace to Thy people. Grant patience in waiting and wisdom in all dealings with those in authority.

While we wait upon the Lord and upon those appointed to repair, set your house in order as far as lies within your power, by making the need clearly known, by seeking all proper means, and above all by offering the key of your house to the great Landlord and acknowledging that we live on sufferance as His tenants. He will not neglect those who trust Him. May He give you peace in your dwelling and may His favor rest upon you.

We will continue to remember you in prayer, asking the Lord to grant a swift and lasting remedy.
