Will you allow the Lord to put MUD in your eyes?
(John 9:5-7) "While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world." When He had said this, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and applied the clay to his eyes, and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam " (which is translated, Sent). So he went away and washed, and came back seeing."
What circumstances do you have going on in your life that are frustrating, uncomfortable, troublesome and maybe has your worried, your not sure of what the outcome will be or when it will be over? Will you allow the Lord to put mud in your eyes? Maybe He is allowing it in order to bring about change in YOU. Instead of fretting over it, ask instead, "What are you trying to teach me or show me?" And above all trust Him, trust in His overwhelming love that if He is allowing this, it is for your good and when you have finally learned, this too shall pass. Maybe it is something that like Moses who ran after killing the Egyptian, had to come back and confront what he ran from. Do not let your fears or whatever strongholds you have keep you bound. The trial you are in may be to set you free! Just like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They went into the fire bound, but the chains came off in the trial, in the fire! The trial you are in may just be for that purpose, to set you free from something!
(Proverbs 3:5-6) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
"Whom the Son sets free is free indeed."
