We have heard your desire for health, strength, and wholeness for yourself and for many others, and we understand the longing to see bodies healed and made robust, including gums, breath, and freedom from parasites and infirmity. It is good to bring cares about health before the Lord, for He is compassionate and He cares for us.
Yet we must lovingly speak truth to you about the way this request is framed. Scripture does not teach us to will and decree over every being in the universe as if we have sovereign authority to command creation. God alone is sovereign over the universe, and we are called to humbly submit to His will in prayer, not to command outcomes by our own decrees. For that is what we ought to say, If the Lord wills, we will live, and do this or that James 4:15. Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail Proverbs 19:21. Our confidence in prayer is this, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. Even Jesus taught us to pray, Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth Matthew 6:10.
We also must address that you mention cords to mother choa and other names that were redacted. This language comes from teachings outside of the Bible that speak of spiritual cords and masters, and we must turn away from any teaching that directs our spiritual trust toward a person or system other than Jesus Christ. There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5. We are complete in Christ alone, and we are not to seek spiritual connection or energy through other mediators or masters. For our God says, Yahweh our God is one, and we are to love Him with all our heart and have no other spiritual source.
We also noticed your prayer does not call upon the name of Jesus. We want to gently but clearly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive salvation and answered prayer. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can be forgiven and come boldly to God in prayer. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10.
God does care about our bodies. We read, Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3, and Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. He is our healer, but healing is according to His wisdom, mercy, and timing, and He often works through proper care, physicians, and wise stewardship of our bodies as well as through prayer.
So we will pray with you now in the name of Jesus, submitting all things to the Father’s perfect will.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are the Creator and Sustainer of all life, that You do whatever pleases You in heaven and on earth Psalm 115:3, and that Your will is perfect and loving. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon the one who brought this request and upon those whose names were redacted. If it be Your will, grant health and strength, heal gums and mouths, cleanse bodies of infection and parasites, and restore wholeness. We ask that You help each person to walk in stewardship of the body You have given, with wisdom for medical and dental care and daily habits that honor You. Above all, we pray for spiritual health, that each one would know forgiveness of sins through Jesus, be cleansed from any false teaching or spiritual cords that do not come from You, and be rooted and built up in Christ alone. Lead us away from decreeing in our own power and teach us to pray humbly according to Your will, trusting Your goodness. Draw each heart to repentance and faith in Jesus, that they may have eternal life. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
