Wife's adultery

Lord please help me. My wife has filed for divorce because she has been commiting adultery. She also goes drinking 2 or 3 nights per week. My kids do not understand. She is out of control and seeing many different men. I do not know what to do. I do not know if I want to this divorce or not. Please pray that God will give me some direction.

Dear Lord,

Please direct the paths of this Dad. Give him wisdom and guidance. Help him to honor You and to be the godly example in this home, for his kid's sake. Help him to walk steadfastly in Your will and find joy in You even in the midst of this tragedy. Father I pray Your Holy Spirit convict this woman of her sin. Let her have no peace and let her feel now the hollowness that such a life will eventually lead to. Open her eyes and show her she is being deceived by the enemy who only wants to destroy her in the end. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

lord i agree with christine in the prayer for this family, lord bring this wife to her knees, to the end of herself and the path she is on...lord reach her somehow and break her heart and bring her to repentence and reconciliation with her husband and family and with you..please do this lord, you have drawn this husband to cry out to you, please act on his behalf i pray in jesus name amen...

I am a mother of three and have sinned against God and my husband. My kids and my husband prayed so hard for years for God to bring me back to church. One day a miracle happened. I experienced a total change of heart. I offered my life to Christ. I was cleansed by the Blood of Jesus! I am an active member in church now. Everything that seemed important to me in the past don't seem anything to me now. I now read the Bible a lot, prays a lot, and spends my time with my kids and friends from church. But the funny thing with my life is, my husband left me. He threatens to file a divorce. He can't take the love and affection that I offer him now. He turned his back and wanted to marry another woman. He left church and the music ministry that he was an active member for a long time. His life turned from good to bad while mine went from bad to good. Our friends were confused but my kids comforted me. My kids assured me that there is always a plan for everything -- a plan that only the Lord knows.

bbdad23, I was once lost but now I'm found. If a miracle happened in my life, it may also happen in your wife's life. Keep praying. Don't stagger in your faith. Learn to wait for God's promise coz He always have a plan for each and everyone of us who believes in Him.

God is starting to work in my husband's life now. I see some little things happening now. I know that one day God will bring my husband back home. The Holy Spirit is now working on him and teaching him lessons in life. God is awesome! He is forever great! Thank you LORD!!

Just believe and He will never fail you..

Father in heaven, please give bbdad23 the strength to endure the pain that he is now suffering. Please show this wife the right path so she will come back to her family. Please change her heart and show her how much her family needs her. Lord, please reunite this family and keep them intact in Your love.
