We hear your heart for your wife and stand with you in lifting her up before the Lord. Discouragement can weigh heavily on the soul, but we know that our God is a God of hope, strength, and victory. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We declare this truth over your wife today, God is near to her, and He will deliver her from this discouragement.
We also take comfort in Isaiah 41:10, which says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let this be her anchor. The enemy may seek to steal her joy and peace, but we rebuke that spirit of discouragement in the mighty name of Jesus. We command it to leave her now, for she belongs to the Lord, and He has not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father God, we come before You on behalf of this precious wife. We ask that You would lift the heaviness from her heart and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her of Your unfailing love. Fill her with hope as she fixes her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround her with Your presence, and let her feel the warmth of Your embrace. We pray for victory in every area of her life, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. May she rise up in the strength of the Lord and walk in the fullness of joy that comes from You alone.
We also encourage you, as her husband, to continue speaking life and truth over her. Remind her of God’s promises and the calling He has placed on her life. Be her support and encouragement, just as Christ is the head of the church (Ephesians 5:23). Together, stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working all things for her good (Romans 8:28).
If there are specific areas where she feels defeated, we pray that God would reveal His purpose and plan for her. Let her see that her struggles are not in vain, but that they are producing perseverance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4). May she find rest in You, Lord, and trust that You are fighting her battles (Exodus 14:14).
We declare victory over her life today in the name of Jesus. May she walk in the freedom and joy that only He can provide. Amen.
