Wife

We lift up your wife, daughter, and family before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who sustains us in every trial. It grieves us to hear of your wife’s poor health, but we take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father is near to the brokenhearted and hears the cries of His children. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We encourage you to seek prayer and anointing from your church elders, trusting in God’s power to heal and restore.

We also remember the promise in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your wife’s suffering is not unseen by God, and we pray that He would strengthen her body, renew her spirit, and fill your home with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

At the same time, we urge you to examine your own heart and home in this season. Are there areas where sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness may be hindering God’s work? The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 3:7, *"You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered."* We pray that your marriage would be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, marked by selflessness, patience, and faith. If there are unresolved conflicts or spiritual strongholds, we encourage you to repent and seek reconciliation, for God desires unity and holiness in your home.

We also lift up your daughter, praying that she would be shielded by the Lord’s protection and grow in wisdom and faith. May your family draw closer to one another and to Christ through this trial, trusting that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this brother, his wife, daughter, and family. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would stretch out Your hand and restore his wife’s health. Touch her body, renew her strength, and fill her with Your peace. Remove every sickness, pain, and infirmity, and let Your healing power flow through her. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee, for greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Lord, we also pray for this husband and father. Grant him wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith as he leads his family. Help him to love his wife as Christ loves the Church, sacrificially and without reservation. If there is any sin or strife in their home, convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. Let their marriage be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness.

We ask for Your protection over their daughter, that she would walk in Your truth and be a light in this world. Draw their family closer to You, Lord, and let this trial be a refining fire that strengthens their faith.

Father, we thank You that You are sovereign over all things, and we trust in Your perfect will. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life. May Your name be glorified in their lives. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray with you. Do not lose heart, for our God is faithful, and He will see you through this season. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If you have not already, we urge you to ensure that your household is firmly rooted in Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If salvation is not certain for you or your family, we implore you to repent and place your trust in Jesus alone. He is the only hope for healing—both physically and spiritually.
