Wife takes ### to church hears Holy Spirit

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear God, my wife's heart is like rivers of water in your hand, you can do anything... Knowing this I ask you order her steps to go to church. Let my son hear singing and praise, feel your presence, know your love. Let the preachers and musicians talk her into going the right way, and keep her from the wrong way. Ps -- If you could spare a couple angels to help her get there like you helped Lot get out of trouble it'd be greatly appreciated, in Jesus name

We join you in lifting up your wife and son before the Lord, knowing that His power is made perfect in our weakness and that He alone can turn hearts toward Him. Your prayer reflects a deep trust in God’s sovereignty, and we stand with you in faith, declaring that the Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. It is beautiful to see your heart crying out for your family’s spiritual well-being, and we are encouraged by your reliance on the Lord’s ability to order their steps.

The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 16:9, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps."* Your wife’s heart is indeed in the hands of the Lord, and He is faithful to lead her as she surrenders to Him. We also recall the promise in Jeremiah 31:3, where the Lord says, *"I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness."* It is this love that will draw her closer to Him, not by force, but by the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit.

We do want to address something important in your prayer. While your heart is in the right place, we must be careful not to pray in a way that suggests we are asking God to manipulate or coerce someone’s will—even for good purposes. The Lord does not force anyone to follow Him; instead, He draws them through His love, conviction, and the work of the Holy Spirit. Additionally, we must avoid praying to or invoking angels in any way, as Scripture does not support this practice. Angels are ministers of God’s will, sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), but they are not to be the focus of our prayers or requests. Our prayers are to be directed to God alone, through the mediation of Jesus Christ. As 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."*

We also want to encourage you to continue being a godly example in your home. Your wife and son are more likely to be drawn to the Lord as they see Christ’s love lived out in you. Ephesians 5:25-26 instructs husbands to *"love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her; that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word."* Your love, patience, and leadership in the home are powerful tools the Lord can use to soften hearts.

Let us pray together for your wife and son:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this husband, his wife, and their son. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost. We ask that You draw her heart to Yourself in a way that only You can do. Soften her heart, Lord, and let her hear Your voice above all others. Remove any distractions, fears, or excuses that may be keeping her from stepping into Your presence at church. Fill her with a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that she may seek You above all else.

Father, we pray for this son as well. Let him be surrounded by Your peace and love, even now. May he hear the songs of praise and feel Your presence in a way that marks his young heart for Your kingdom. Raise up godly influences in his life—teachers, friends, and mentors who will point him to You.

Lord, we also ask that You strengthen this husband as he leads his family. Give him wisdom, patience, and a love that reflects Your own. Let his life be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness, that his wife and son may see Christ in him.

We rebuke any spiritual strongholds or lies of the enemy that may be keeping this family from walking fully in Your will. By the power of the name of Jesus, we declare that every chain is broken, and every obstacle is removed. Let Your light shine brightly in their home, dispelling all darkness.

Father, we trust You with this family. Your word says in Philippians 1:6, *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* We claim this promise over them today. Bring them into a deeper relationship with You, and let their lives be a testament to Your goodness and mercy.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to keep praying, keep loving, and keep trusting the Lord. He is faithful, and He hears your cries. Continue to cover your home in prayer, and ask the Lord to give you opportunities to share His love in both words and actions. If there are areas in your own life where you need to grow or repent, ask the Lord to reveal them to you, that you may lead your family with integrity and humility. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stand firm in faith, knowing that He who promised is faithful.

We're right there with you, brother, lifting your wife and son up to the Lord. We've been where you are, feeling that tug on our hearts for our loved ones to experience the joy and peace that only Jesus can bring. It's beautiful to see your heart so deeply invested in their spiritual well-being.

We join you in believing that God can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. He's already at work in their lives, and He's not done yet. Remember, it's not about forcing or manipulating, but about drawing them with loving-kindness. Trust that the Holy Spirit is working, and your prayers are like arrows aimed at the heart of God, piercing through to bring about His will.

Let's keep praying together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for Your divine intervention in our ###'s and ###'s lives. Lord, You know their hearts, their struggles, and their needs. We ask that You soften their hearts, remove any barriers that keep them from You, and draw them closer to Your loving embrace.

Lord, we pray for our ###. We ask that You give her a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that she may seek You above all else. We pray for our ###, that he may grow in wisdom and understanding, and that he may come to know You at a young age.

Lord, we also pray for our ###. Give him the strength and wisdom to lead his family with love, patience, and understanding. Help him to be a godly example in his home, reflecting Your love and grace in all that he does.

Lord, we trust You with their lives. We know that You who began a good work will complete it. We ask that You bring them into a deeper relationship with You, and that their lives would be a testament to Your goodness and mercy.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I have recently joined a church! And since I’ve joined, I have basically been going in sitting towards the back of the church after service. I’d leave right out. I’ve been there about a year. So I went to a class where the floor was opened for anybody to answer. Or to share your take on certain...
