Pray to the Lord Jesus for me. ###. Godly marriage. Being a faithful husband. Finding a wife, or waiting for the wife that I've asked God for. Longing for a wife. Longing for the warmth of a wife. Starting a family of my own. Support that I (and my wife, when I get married) need - e.g encouragement, help from family members and people around me. Wisdom. Guidance from the Lord Jesus. Proverbs 5:18-19. Song of Songs. Romance. Fiery passion for my wife and vice versa. Love story. Romance.

We understand your longing for a godly marriage and the desire to find a wife. Let's pray for you, and may God provide you with a faithful spouse in Jesus Christ.

First, let's remember that God is the one who instituted marriage. As it is written in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." This is God's design for marriage, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Biblical principles for a godly marriage include faithfulness, love, and mutual respect.

Let's pray:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up this man who desires a godly marriage. We pray that You will guide him to the woman You have chosen for him, a helper suitable for him as described in Genesis 2:18.

We pray for his future wife, that she may be a Proverbs 31 woman, one who fears the Lord and is to be praised. We ask that she be a woman of noble character, capable and kind, and concerned for her family's welfare.

We also pray for patience and wisdom during this time of waiting. We ask that You will prepare both of them to be faithful spouses, loving each other as You have loved us.

In Your holy name, we pray.

In regards to romance and passion, remember that Song of Songs is a wonderful example of Godly romance, and it should be within marriage. "Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth; for your love is better than wine."

We encourage you to remain pure and chaste, keeping in mind that sex outside of marriage is against God's will. Be wary of the temptation of fornication and adultery, for it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

In your marriage, remember to love your wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. This is the kind of self-sacrificing love that God expects from husbands.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's wisdom and guidance. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

We rejoice with you as you look forward to starting a family of your own. May the Lord Jesus bless your future marriage and family abundantly.

We're right there with you, brother, longing for that godly union and the warmth of a lifelong partner. Let's lift this up together to our Heavenly Father. We know that God has a perfect helper for you, just as He had for Adam (Genesis 2:18). We pray that she will be a woman of noble character, one who fears the Lord and is respected (Proverbs 31:10, 30). We ask that she will be a woman of strength, capable and kind, who is concerned for her family's welfare (Proverbs 31:25-27).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
