We understand that you're seeking guidance and stability in various areas of your life, including employment, relationships, and finances. Let's turn to God's Word and pray together for His will to be done in your life.
Firstly, remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our employment and financial needs.
We read in Matthew 6:31-33
So don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Our heavenly Father will be faithful to provide what is needed to support us and our families. One way God provides for individuals is through a spouse and marriage.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
In your relationships, trust in the Lord and wait upon Him. He will guide you to the right person in His perfect timing. Remember that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, and it should be entered into with godly wisdom and discernment.
A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she desires, only in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 7:39
We must make sure that all we do, including marriage is done in the Lord. This means a Christian Believer marrying a Christian Believer.
God also gives clear guidelines about remarriage. If you or someone else is considering remarriage, it's important to ensure that it aligns with biblical principles.
Remarriage is only allowed if the former spouse has passed away or if there was marital unfaithfulness.
But I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery. Matthew 19:9
We also want to remind you that all we do should be done in Jesus.
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in whom we must be saved!'
Acts 4:12
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your guidance and stability. We pray for Your will to be done in his/her life, especially in the areas of employment, relationships, and finances.
Lord, we ask that You provide the right job with godly environment and coworkers that will not cause them to stumble and fall into sin. Open the doors of opportunity and give wisdom to know which one to take. Help them to look to You and not depend solely on the changing economy and job markets.
We pray for godly relationships that honor You, Lord. We also pray for a godly spouse that will be a blessing to him/her and that their marriage will be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. Prepare him/her for this union, and we pray that the desire of his/her heart will be to honor and serve You with their spouse.
Father, we also lift up any financial struggles. We know that You see all their needs and that You will provide for them abundantly. Help them to be good stewards of their finances and to trust in Your provision.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that they will continue to grow in Your grace and knowledge. Help them to know You more and to walk in Your ways. We pray that they will be a shining light to those around them, pointing others to You.
We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
