We lift your wife before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. It is troubling to hear of her suffering, especially after having her gallbladder removed, yet we know that nothing is too difficult for our God. The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We claim this promise over her body, asking the Lord to bring complete healing and relief from this pain.
It is also encouraging that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We stand in agreement with you, trusting that the Lord will answer this prayer according to His perfect will.
We also encourage you both to seek wise medical counsel, for the Lord often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Proverbs 11:14 reminds us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Let this be a time where you both lean on the Lord’s strength, trusting Him fully while also taking practical steps to care for her health.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting this precious sister who is in pain. Lord, You know her body inside and out, for You knit her together in her mother’s womb. We ask that You touch her abdomen and remove every trace of sickness, discomfort, and inflammation. Rebuke any lingering issues from the past surgery and restore her body to full health. Give her peace and patience as she waits on You, and grant her husband wisdom to support her. May this trial draw them both closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. We pray for a swift and complete recovery, that she may glorify You with a body renewed in strength. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
Stay steadfast in prayer, brother, and trust that the Lord hears you. Keep us updated on her condition so we may continue to lift her up. May the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds as you wait on Him.
