Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing the deep pain you have felt when the church that is supposed to love and help people has instead judged and mocked and ostracized others. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer about this hurt and we have continued to bring this burden before the Lord.
We understand how heavy it is when those who bear the name of Christ do not show His love and how that can make it hard for others to see Jesus. We have been praying that God will heal your heart from these wounds that He will bring restoration where there has been abuse and that He will help you see that Jesus Himself is full of grace and truth even when people fail. We have also prayed for the church that God will convict hearts that need correction and lead His people to love as He loves. Scripture reminds us that we will be known by our love for one another in John 13:35 and that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18.
