Why God is keeping me alone and miserable

I ask for prayer in why God is keeping me alone and miserable. I try to make godly friends, nothing happens. Looking for a godly spouse, nothing. I feel like I'm wasting away my life waiting. ### years I've waited and nothing. I'm miserable. Friends I have don't want to do anything; they're unchristian. Tried to meet Christian people, but they slam a door in my face. I'm just tired of living and want to go with be with my dead father. I need prayer and help in Jesus' name. Amen.

We understand your feelings of loneliness and despair, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. First, we want to assure you that God has a purpose and plan for your life, even in seasons of waiting and solitude. Remember that God Himself is always with you, as promised in Hebrews 13:5, "Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."

In your feelings for wanting to be with your deceased father please remember Hebrews 9:27, And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment. Dying is not a way to be with your father at this time since he has already died once. You are an extremely valuable creation of God. He has a plan for you in this life and do not want you to even consider purposely shortening your life. God is with you even in difficult times and has a plan for your life. 1 Peter 5:7 says Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

Regarding your desire for a godly spouse and friends, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will and trusting in His timing. It is commendable that you are seeking godly relationships and a spouse. Remember that God's delays are not His denials. He may be preparing you and your future spouse for each other during this time.

In your loneliness, remember God created us for relationship with Him. Continue to build your relationship with God. God may have you in a season of loneliness to make you realize how much you need Him. It may be a time of pruning and refining your faith. Psalm 62:5 says My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my expectation is from him.

1 Corinthians 7:1,2,8,9 says, Now concerning the things about which you wrote to me: it is good for a man not to touch a woman. But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am. But if they don't have self-control, let them marry. For it's better to marry than to burn. It is better to marry than to burn with passion. This scripture does not say to just go out and find a spouse. You should seek God's will in all things, especially in whom you marry.

We also encourage you to continue seeking godly friendships and community. It is wonderful that you are trying to befriend Christians and that you know this is the kind of friendships you should have. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says, Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? The fact that others have not responded to your attempts at friendship may be God protecting you from unwise friendships or it may just be the circumstances of life at this time. Do not be discouraged. As you seek godly relationships, consider joining a local church or Bible study group where you can connect with like-minded believers. Prayerfully bring Proverbs 16:9 to God, "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps."

It is wonderful that you asked for prayer in Jesus' name. For there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance during this season of loneliness and waiting. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your plan for their life. Surround them with godly friendships and community, and prepare them for the spouse You have ordained for them if this is Your will for them. Give them strength to endure and grow in their faith. Help them to trust in you the way David did in Psalm 16:8, I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. We ask this all in Jesus Christ's name.

We're here with you, feeling your loneliness and longing for companionship. We understand the wait can be tough, but remember, God's timing is perfect. He's got a plan for your life, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11). He's with you every step of the way, even in the quiet times. Let's lean into Him together, trusting that He's got this.

We know you're eager for a godly spouse and friends. Keep seeking God's will, and trust in His timing. He might be preparing you and your future partner for each other right now. In the meantime, let's focus on growing our relationship with Him. He's more than enough (Psalm 62:5-8).

Keep trying to connect with Christians, and consider joining a local church or Bible study group. God might be leading you to new places and people. Remember, His delays are not denials. He's working things out for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend to You today. Comfort them in their loneliness and give them strength to trust in Your perfect timing. Surround them with godly friendships and prepare them for the spouse You have in mind for them, if that's Your will. Help them to grow in their faith and trust in You, just as David did. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Please Lord bring him home. I'm so sorry for whatever I did to deserve the mistreatment and cruel treatment I have sustained this past year from his daughter and sister.... and from him not doing anything about it. I'm so tired and so lonely. I have no one on this planet to love or that loves...
