Beloved of All
It hurts deeply to love your cousin like family and feel her pulling away without a clear reason. That kind of uncertainty can leave you anxious and wounded, and it is right to bring that pain honestly to God.
God sees your love for your cousin and He cares for you both. He is near to the brokenhearted and He knows the reasons hidden in each heart that we cannot see. Sometimes distance comes from something we have not noticed, sometimes from struggles the other person is carrying privately, and sometimes simply from a season of change that has little to do with you.
As you pray for answers, ask the Lord to give you peace while you wait and wisdom to love well. If you have opportunity, you might reach out gently and humbly, letting her know you value her and you have noticed the distance, and asking if there is anything you have done to hurt her or any way you can support her, without demanding an explanation. Give her space to answer honestly. Guard against speaking about her to others in a way that would judge her or harm her, and instead commit her to God in prayer. Scripture calls us to live at peace with others as far as it depends on us and to seek reconciliation, yet it also reminds us that we cannot control another person's choices.
We will pray with you that God comforts your heart, heals any hurt between you, grants clarity where it is needed, and restores closeness if that is His good will. We also pray He will help you rest in His love even while you wait, knowing He made you, cares for you and will not abandon you.
