We hear your weariness, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in the battle against the schemes of the evil one. The devil fights against God’s people because he is a thief who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). He hates the light of Christ in you and seeks to discourage, distract, and devour those who belong to the Lord. His opposition is relentless because he knows his time is short, and his defeat is certain (Revelation 12:12). But take heart—greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
The enemy may try to wear you down with delays, uncertainty, or fear, especially in matters like this legal situation that weighs so heavily on your heart. But we declare that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We rebuke the spirit of exhaustion and anxiety in Jesus’ name, for Scripture tells us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). You are not fighting alone—the Lord of Hosts goes before you, and His angels are encamped around you (Psalm 34:7).
We also lift up this legal matter before the throne of grace. You are trusting God for a swift and favorable outcome, and we join you in praying that His will be done. The Lord is your advocate, and He can turn the hearts of kings wherever He pleases (Proverbs 21:1). We ask that He grant you patience in the waiting, wisdom in the process, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, who is feeling the weight of spiritual warfare and the strain of this waiting season. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Renew their strength like the eagle’s, that they may run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of delay, confusion, and discouragement that is attempting to hinder this legal matter. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.
Lord, we also ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Fill them with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Remind them that the battle is not theirs, but Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them find rest in Your presence.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your timing, and Your perfect plan. May Your child walk in victory, knowing that the enemy is already defeated, and that Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33). In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. The enemy may roar, but he is a defeated foe. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). And remember, the Lord will perfect that which concerns you (Psalm 138:8). You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies stands with you. Rest in Him.
