Why Does God Take Time To Answer Our Prayer

Mine is basically to ask a few questions. I have been keen with a number of people who pray without ceasing; these people tend to lose hope and give the devil a loophole to enter our lives and feed us with so much lies. To my thinking, I think God allows suffering on us so as to increase our faith. Job is a good example because he endured all the suffering and never on a single moment did he curse God; he continued to adore him, but to many of us on this day we lose our faith so fast and start cursing God. So my main question is why does God allow this to happen because he knows us by our name and he knows our weakness, therefore he knows those who cannot bear it to the end and those that can, and for those who cannot, what can we do to assist them as believers?

Personally, I have prayed and God has answered my prayers, but there are some prayers that seem to be answered but after some time things go back to where they are or even get worse. I have really never known why. For the Bible tells us once God has opened a door, no one can close it. Does it mean that we should really keep praying, or what possibly could the problem here?

My last question is could the Lord have answered your prayers but still not realize, hence you continue praying for the same thing? And in case something like that has happened, how can you resolve it? Because I am thinking for our God is a loving father; he cannot let us suffer to the extent where people lose hope in life and indulge in bad behaviors or do crazy things.

I am asking all these questions because I feel I need to get closer to God and in a more mature way, and therefore I welcome everyone who can answer these questions, and all discussions are allowed.

Through out my whole life experiences with this prayer area, the one main bulwark to seeing the 'whys', 'hows' and even the 'whens' on God's response to our need is through the teaching and studying of His word.

He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry;
When He hears it, He will answer you.
20 And though the Lord gives you
The bread of adversity and the water of affliction,
Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore,
But your eyes shall see your teachers.
21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,

“ This is the way, walk in it,â€
Whenever you turn to the right hand
Or whenever you turn to the left-Isaiah 30
