Why does God take so long to get us out of a troubling situation?

I don't know if the rest of you have experienced this, but I've seen time and again when I'm in a troublesome situation{which I didn't request, it "found me"}and God knows how I feel about it, through prayer, otherwise talking to Him, the prayers of others, etc.Yet the situation drags on and on, and at some time in the future,,after causing me much problems and aggravation, circumstances change and I'm "free" from the problem.{Although another one pops up , maybe kind of similar, a while later.}Not being a masochist, I don't like this.It could be a situation, or a person giving me the problem. In other words, the situations drag on much longer than I prefer it to. My own steps don't always work, and honestly, neither does praying, or the prayers of others. So questions as to a situation "finding me" when I, not being a masochist, didn't ask for it,but also why God is so slow to get me out of it.Now look at some sinners who more rapidly get out of their problems. Cain pleaded with God,"My punishment is more than I can bear",and God didn't let anyone kill him like he pleaded for.People in with the Mafia, if they're in a troubling situation,they go to their "godfather" and he pulls some strings and gets them out of it, and not years later like waiting for God under unbearable circumstances.Why do only we have to be in the heavy circumstances for years and years?

Maybe God wants you to learn something from these situations. When I am in a predicament, I try to work it out “my way” and that doesn’t work, I let go of it, and say “Ok God, the problem is all yours”. And BELIEVE He will take care of it. It works every time! But you have to pray and give thanks and praise to God for all the good and beautiful things He has done for us. God bless you and keep praying.

‘heavy circumstances’ is how you view it.Meaning an event or whatever is going on in your life you define it with words(positive or negative).All spiritual people and mystics etc all they do is observe and that whats all about pure observation without defining whether it’s good or bad.Thoughts and feelings are your enemies they are the Ego(devil).Stop resisting and go with the flow.When you resist God is bringing you the same challenges in order to learn.Like a game that you can not move to the next level.Furthermore for God time doesn’t exist so don’t stuck in years and years mindset..

God is trying your faith in Him. God wants you to draw closer and closer to His holy presence, that is why He sends trouble in our life and is looking after you if you will be faithful and true to Him. Just read Jobs attitude towards God when he was full of sores in his body and all his sons and daughters were killed. Job trusted God above everything else in life.
