Don't Give Up!
There will be times in our lives when it seems that all is lost, that there is no hope, that God has forsaken us, and that no matter what we do, things just get worse.
- Firstly, let me assure you that God will NEVER forsake you. The Bible says, "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6) "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13:5) We may forsake God, but He will never forsake us.
- As hard as it is at times to believe, God will never give us more then we can endure. There will be times when it seems that God has given us more then we can take, that there are no solutions to our problems. During these times we must have faith and trust in God, because we know that He has a plan for our lives. We need to remember that there is ALWAYS a light at the end of the tunnel.
- During the hardest, most difficult times in our lives, God is nearest to us. God will be with us in times of trouble. The Bible says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1) I do not have all the answers, but Jesus does. I know that God loves us, and only wants the best for us. Where there is life, there is hope. Where there is hope there is faith. Where there is faith there is God.
- Why does God allow us, His children, to suffer and have so many problems and difficulties?
God uses suffering to humble us, to teach us compassion for others, and to teach us many other lessons that we otherwise would not learn. If you never suffered, you would have no compassion for those who are suffering.
Never Give Up! Trust in God and have faith in His promises. He has never failed and He will never fail.
Remember, Nothing is Impossible for God.
