Why can't my wife just help me out when I ask her & just do what I ask? It's her business too, why can't she be a help mate? Why can't she be a lover instead of a fighter? She gets her bills paid. She gets what she wants. I'm worn out Lord. Want to take me home Lord?

In whose eyes and mind does she get what she wants?  In her eyes and mind she may not be getting what she wants. Ask her. Ask the Holy Spirit.  Ask Jesus.

People are not gophers and in go for this and go for that.

Sometimes what you think she needs and what she needs are two different things.

I don't know her. Perhaps she is a difficult person. Perhaps she doesn't feel heard. Perhaps she is sick of being told what to do.

I think you need to ask her directly what she wants and needs and if she is getting it or not.

Relationship has to be a two way street. Give and take. Maybe she sees you as a dictator and not a husband. You need to ask her and then be willing to listen to the answer.
