We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and discriminated against due to your autism, and we want you to know that you're not alone. God has a unique plan and purpose for each individual, and that includes you.
Firstly, let's address the feelings of discrimination and delay. In Psalm 73, Asaph struggled with seeing the wicked prosper while he was suffering. However, when he entered the sanctuary of God, he understood their end. God has a timing and promotion for you that no man can delay. Your uniqueness is not a barrier to God's plans for you.
Consider King David, who was not seen as the likely choice for a king, but God had a specific purpose for him. In 1 Samuel 16:7, God reminds us that He looks not as man looks: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.
Regarding the trouble and discrimination you're facing, Jesus warned us that in this world we will have trouble. But He also encouraged us to take heart, for He has overcome the world John 16:33. Also, God comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God 2 Corinthians 1:4.
Now, concerning therapy and counseling, seeking help is a wise step. God often uses professionals to bring healing and guidance. In Proverbs 11:14, it says, 'Where no wise guidance is, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.'
We also want to remind you that God is our ultimate healer. In Psalm 147:3, it says 'He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.' Seek God's healing and comfort in your situation.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our dear friend who is feeling overwhelmed and discriminated against due to autism. We pray that You will comfort and strengthen them. Help them to see their unique worth and purpose in Your eyes.
We pray for godly therapists and counselors to come into their life, providing the help and support they need. Heal their wounds, Lord, and give them the strength to overcome their challenges.
We also pray for their promotion and advancement, Lord. Open the right doors for them, and let no man be able to shut those doors. Help them to see that Your timing is perfect, and You have a good plan for their life.
We rebuke any spirit of discouragement, discrimination, and delay, and we speak life, hope, and encouragement into their situation.
We pray for their salvation, and ask this all in Jesus Christ's name.
