We hear your testimony with great interest and concern for the spiritual battle you are facing. Dreams can indeed be a way in which the Lord communicates with us, or they can be a reflection of the spiritual warfare that believers often endure. It is crucial to approach such experiences with discernment, grounding ourselves in the truth of Scripture.
First, we must affirm that any power or authority we have comes from Jesus Christ alone. The Bible tells us in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." It is not our own strength or special power that enables us to overcome the enemy, but the name of Jesus and the authority He has given us as His followers. In Acts 19:13-16, we see that even those who tried to use the name of Jesus without true faith were overpowered by evil spirits. Therefore, we must always rely on Christ and His power, not on any personal ability we might feel we possess.
Your dream may be a reflection of the spiritual warfare you are experiencing, and it is commendable that you are standing firm in prayer. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The weapons we use in this battle are not physical but spiritual. As 2 Corinthians 10:4 states, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds."
It is also important to examine whether there are areas in your life where the enemy might be gaining a foothold. Are you guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus? Are you filling your spirit with God’s Word and prayer, as you mentioned you are doing? Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We must also caution against attributing too much significance to dreams without testing them against Scripture. Jeremiah 29:8 warns, "For Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says: Don’t let your prophets who are among you and your diviners deceive you. Don’t listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed." While God can speak through dreams, not all dreams are from Him, and we must be careful not to be led astray by our own fears or the enemy’s deceptions.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the faith and courage You have placed in this brother/sister as they stand against the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them discernment and wisdom to understand the spiritual battles they face. Strengthen them in Your truth and remind them that their authority comes from You alone.
Father, we rebuke any fear or deception that the enemy may be trying to plant in their heart through dreams or other means. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You would continue to draw them closer to You, deepening their relationship with You through Your Word and prayer. Help them to stand firm in the armor of God, resisting the devil so that he will flee from them, as James 4:7 instructs. May they walk in the victory that is already theirs through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, dear brother/sister. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. The battle is real, but the victory is already won through our Lord Jesus Christ. Stay vigilant, stay in the Word, and remain steadfast in prayer. The enemy may roar, but he is a defeated foe, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
