When Jesus told a certain rich person he must give up his possessions to follow Him, he went away sad. If I ask the question, which comes first to you, God or something according to your emotional state you feel "loyal to," which would you say? God, obviously. Obviously? Well... I don't know, because I see A LOT OF cases where the devil takes a "pet devotion" and deceives people to put it before God. Like, let's say, abortion. Why are women so strong on abortion? Obviously, there's enough in the Bible to make us understand that it's not the kind of thing God approves of. But hearing the woman talk, they say it's a WOMAN'S right. If God controls the universe, and He says no, but they say, it's not God's decision, but a woman's decision, to me, they're putting their gender before God, saying, God said no, but I as a woman say yes, so women are more important than God.
From there, former president ###, before he even got elected, it was obvious that many of his viewpoints conflicted with Bible teaching. Then after election, he even approved of gay marriage, and that little "cold shoulder" he gave ###, ###, a country blessed of God and used in the Bible, and the land given to them by God, yet ### seemed to {I think more than seemed to} always be sucking up to the Moslem nations, but came down hard on ###, yet that and the approval of gay marriage, what happened? The majority of black CHRISTIANS, who go to church regularly, and sing hymns in publicly and are very vocal about their Christianity, voted for him, and why? Well, one, because he's black too {but again, are you a Christian first, or black first?} but also, because he wanted to give out money to others [but again, do you as a Christian vote for someone who backs anti-Christian things, for money, or do you stick with your loyalty to God's principles and go with that?]
And lastly, the poor. Sometimes they justify a certain sin, like I've heard several times someone who robs a bank or mugs someone or swindles, gives the 'excuse," well they "have to" do it, that's how they make their money. So they say that to "justify" their sin. But again, either you follow God's word, or you go by how you emotionally feel. Am I the only one who notices these things, or do any of you see this too, and agree?
