Why is this life so hard? It seems as though my life gets harder and harder everyday. I long for the day that I can say that I am happy and at peace. My heart ache's with an unquenchable pain. The days of my joy are few and far in between. Yes, I know that things could be worse, but I am so tired. My spirit is weary, my mind wanders and worries all the time. When will I receive peace. Will it be when I see Jesus? Will I see Him? I feel as though peace is far from me. I'm most happy when I sleep. Its God's will that I wake every morning. I'm alone and lonely. I'm miserable in my own skin. Where is the joy that the bible speaks of? Should I be content with this life? Should I expect nothing and be content with it? I think so...

Im praying for you. Things will get better. The devil is trying to get you down. Trust and believe in God's word's and blessing. Declare them over your life speak life and blessing not curses and negativity over your life. Our words are powerful. Rockii things will get better expect it and praise God in the storm. Dont listen to those negative voices stay tuned into God. Say who God says you are not the devil. Have faith. Jesus has wonderful plans for you. Trials strengthen us so they can become our triumph. Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Luke 4:3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. 4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Luke 4:13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
If you take a look at these two accounts of the devil's approach to Eve, and what HER response was to the serpent, than his approach to Jesus, and take a look at what Jesus said to the devil. "It is written"
Eve used her own reasoning and her own words, while Jesus spoke the word of God.
The victory in living the Christian life is walking with God and agreeing with Him. Jesus said, if you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7
2 Cor 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
I'm going to be flat out truthful to you, Your words defeat you, sis. Your words are working against you. You are cursing yourself by agreeing with the devil.
The devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking those whom he may devour. Who is he seeking? Those who agree with him.
Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3
Isaiah 53:1 Who hast believed the report of the Lord and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
Start speaking the words of life. This is the day that the Lord hast made, I WILL REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT.
That is a daily decision. I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth, my soul shall make it's boast in the Lord.
Father, I don't care what the report of the world says, I agree with you, that I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me, for He is the vine and I am the branch, and His life flows through me. I am a new creation, old things have passed away. My past no longer exists, for I am born again, Jesus is Lord. I thank you that You are my provider and you do meet all my needs. I will begin to keep my mind and thoughts on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and praiseworthy. I make a conscious decision to speak life. No more death, for Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. The fullness of God abides in me. Holy Spirit baptize me with power, in the name of Jesus! I submit myself to you, for your ways are better than my ways, and I choose to think your thoughts after you because your word says I have the mind of Christ. IN THE NAME OF JESUS FEAR AND DEPRESSION GO FROM ME! I DO NOT ACCEPT YOU AND I CANCEL YOUR ASSIGNMENT AGAINST ME! I am a child of God, blood washed, and it is in Him that I live and move and have my being. I am not a cast off but I am adopted into the family of God. I belong to God and He is good to me. I have been made the righteousness of God in Christ. I have wisdom because I have Jesus. I have redemption because I have Jesus. I have the love of God shed abroad on my heart. I have Peace, because the Prince of Peace lives in me. He is the vine, and I am the branch and it is HIS peace that is mine. Thank you Lord for redeeming me, for quickening me, raising me and seating me in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Thank you that you have called out LIGHT BE and the light of the glorious gospel shines brightly in my heart and mind.

I am going through a very hard time myself at the minute so I know how you feel,
I have asked for prayers for peace tonight and it makes me feel so much better knowing all these wonderful people are praying for me. Praying for others and knowing that they are praying for me too uplifts me greatly.
I pray that you know that you are not alone. There are many others on this website who are going through similar struggles.
I can not offer inspiration from a powerful scripture, as I am new to Christianity and still learning them myself but I can offer you hope.
My brother suffered depression for years when he was younger. He was stuck in a rut and going nowhere. Now he is at university studying for an awesome job and meeting new people. I am so proud of how he turned things round.
You might feel happiest when you are asleep now but you never know what awesome blessings god will have you waking up to in the future.

I think it is a good things when we do not feel at home here in this life. It only prooves we do NOT belong here. This life is temporary. So praise you father that we do not feel peace and at home at times because it makes us desire you even more to fill us and help us as we are only sojourners on this planet walking through until we get to our permanent home in heaven. Thank you for the trials and the hard times. It is a struggle and a daily battle but your word tells me that the battle belongs to you and you will not fail me. You are our shephard. You care and you never let us go. You died for us even when we were yet in sin. You love us and you are the great physician. You are the one that causes us to rise and you wake us each day to the sounds of birds singing and at times the rain. We thank you for these sweet sounds. We thank you for clothes on our back for food on the table for family and friends. We thank you for this site. We thank you that you are greater in us than we are in this world. You are the LORD. AMEN.
