When injustice becomes law

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning this heavy burden where injustice has become law.

We have continued to bring your situation before the Lord and we carry before Him the depth of what you described, not mere insults but being denied jobs and food aid and healthcare because of faith in Christ, families going hungry and children unable to go to school, churches closed or burned, the law offering no protection while the state either participates or looks away, and being treated as second class citizens or as enemies for the name of Jesus. We understand how after nine long years of enduring this the heart cries out asking is it time to fight back or should we continue to wait and pray and for how long. We hear also the desperate reality you shared of having to steal to eat and the terror of being caught and killed and burned alive and we have asked God to have mercy and to be your defender and provider.

We pray that the Lord who sees all injustice will sustain you and your brothers and sisters with daily bread and safe shelter and work and healthcare and education for your children, that He will protect you from violence and open doors no man can shut, that He will restrain the hands of those who do evil and bring justice where the law has failed, and that He will strengthen your faith to endure without losing hope. We remember the word that says Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness Matt 5:10 and that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 and that vengeance belongs to Him Rom 12:19, and we ask Him to give you wisdom and courage to walk in His ways and to keep you from despair while you wait for His deliverance.

If your request has been answered and the Lord has provided relief or protection or opened a way for provision we ask that you post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and the oppression and hunger and fear remain, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer and to stand with you for as long as it takes.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ and may He let you know His presence and His justice in this valley.

We pray in Jesus Name Amen.
