Jesus fearlessly declared to all that He is the Messiah, the Christ that the world was waiting for. Some of the Jews believed but some sought to kill and destroy Him. In the fullness of time, He gave His life in total surrender to His Father as an offering for the sins of the world.
His sacrificial at the cross satisfied the demands of God's justice and holiness. It appeased the wrath of God towards sin and gave the privilege to all who believed to be reconciled to God.
Jesus offers what the world needs; life eternal through His name. His offer of salvation was paid by His precious blood. Whoever will may come, just as you are and find comfort of forgiveness through Christ Jesus.
His offer of salvation also includes the power to change life. If any man be in Christ, He is a new creation. Old things are passed away, behold all things become new.
If you come to Jesus and recognize Him as Lord, He opens new avenues of service and and fellowship with God and His Church. He also promised life free from the burdens of this world to life of rest and peace.
If anyone comes to Him, He will not in any way cast him out. There is room for everyone in His heart.
You need Jesus. Jesus Loves you! He desires to have a relationship with you, and to give you a life full of joy and purpose. Why do you need Him in your life? Because you have a past. You can't go back, but He can. The Bible says Jesus is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. He can walk into those places of sin and failure, wipe the slate, clean and give you a new beginning. Because you need a friend. Jesus knows the worst about you, yet He believes the best. Why? Because He sees you not as you are, but as you will be when He gets through with you. What a friend! Because He holds the future. Who else are you going to trust? In His hands you are safe and secure—today, tomorrow, and for eternity. His word says, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen."
For those who did not yet receive Jesus as their Lord and personal savior, please pray this prayer:
Lord Jesus, I invite you into my life, I believe you died for me and that your blood pays for my sins and provides me with the gift of eternal life. By faith I receive that gift, and acknowledge you as my Lord and Savior. Amen.
