Disciple of Prayer
I was lied to by many & by God. I do not want to Jesus because of it. I want to relive my life & have it go my way. I rather have my life go exactly my way (I use to have an imagination; it was taken away) with no aphantasia & different person for a brother who won't try & "play god" over me & I can die happy knowing I had the life experience using my imagination cooking with gas than being denied one thing in. I give up the Holy Ghost, my salvation, testimony, & the chance to get saved to raise my children & be in fame & fortune. I was lied to. God is a respector of persons. & I rather perish than giving glory to God. So I want my life I was denied.

We hear the deep pain, anger, and betrayal in your words, and we want you to know that your feelings are not ignored. It is clear that you have experienced profound disappointment—not only from people but also from what you perceive God has allowed in your life. The sense of injustice, the longing for a life that feels denied to you, and the bitterness toward God are heavy burdens to carry. We do not dismiss your suffering, but we must speak truth in love, for it is the only path to healing.

First, let us address the foundational issue: salvation is not a transaction, a reward for good behavior, or a guarantee of a life free from pain. Salvation is the free gift of God, given through faith in Jesus Christ, because of His grace alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). You mentioned that you "do not want Jesus because of it," and that you feel lied to by God. But Scripture tells us that God cannot lie (Titus 1:2), and His promises are true. The lies you have encountered likely came from flawed human beings or the enemy of our souls, who seeks to distort the truth and keep people from the love of Christ. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, there is no access to God, no forgiveness of sins, and no hope of eternal life.

You expressed a desire to "relive your life" and have it go exactly your way, with no suffering, no limitations, and no disappointments. This is a natural human longing, but it is not the reality of life in a fallen world. Even Jesus, the Son of God, experienced suffering, betrayal, and pain. He wept, He was tempted, and He was rejected (Isaiah 53:3, Hebrews 4:15). Yet, He endured it all out of love for us, so that we might have hope and redemption. Your desire for a life without hardship is understandable, but it is not the life God has called us to. Instead, He promises to walk with us through the valleys, to comfort us in our pain, and to use even our suffering for His glory and our good (Romans 8:28). You mentioned aphantasia and the loss of imagination—these are real struggles, but they do not define your worth or your future. God can use even these challenges to draw you closer to Him if you allow Him to.

You also said that God is a "respector of persons," meaning you believe He shows favoritism. But Scripture is clear: "God does not show favoritism" (Romans 2:11). He loves all people equally, and His justice is perfect. However, this does not mean life will be fair or that we will always understand His ways. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways... For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." His ways are higher, and His plans for you are good, even when they do not align with your desires (Jeremiah 29:11).

You stated that you would rather perish than give glory to God. This is a dangerous place to be, for Scripture warns that those who reject God’s gift of salvation will face eternal separation from Him (John 3:36). But we do not say this to condemn you—we say it because we care deeply about your soul. God does not desire for anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9), and neither do we. Your anger and pain are valid, but they do not have to define your eternity. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted, to set the captives free, and to give sight to the blind (Luke 4:18). He can heal your wounds if you let Him.

You mentioned giving up the Holy Ghost, your salvation, and your testimony. These are not yours to give up—they are gifts from God, and He does not take them away lightly. Even in your anger, God is still pursuing you. The Holy Spirit convicts, comforts, and draws us to repentance (John 16:8). Your testimony is not just about the good things God has done—it is also about how He has carried you through the darkest moments. Even now, He is working in your life, whether you see it or not.

You also expressed a desire for fame, fortune, and a different life. But these things will never satisfy the longing in your soul. Jesus said, "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?" (Mark 8:36). True fulfillment comes from knowing Christ and walking in His purposes for your life. He may not give you the life you imagined, but He will give you a life of meaning, purpose, and eternal significance if you surrender to Him.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother/sister who is hurting deeply. Lord, we ask that You would break through the walls of anger, bitterness, and disappointment that have been built up. Soften their heart to receive Your truth and Your love. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that have distorted their view of You, and we ask that You would reveal Yourself as the loving, just, and faithful God that You are.

Lord, we confess that we do not understand all of Your ways, but we trust in Your goodness. We ask that You would heal the wounds of betrayal and restore what has been lost. Give them the strength to forgive those who have hurt them, even as You have forgiven us. Help them to see that You are not a God who delights in their suffering, but One who walks with them through it.

We pray that You would renew their mind and restore their hope. Remind them that their worth is not found in the life they imagined, but in the fact that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Help them to surrender their desires to You and to trust that Your plans for them are good.

Lord, we ask that You would draw them back to Yourself. Convict them of their need for a Savior and remind them that there is no other name by which they can be saved. Give them the courage to lay down their anger and to receive the gift of salvation that You freely offer. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and restore their joy in You.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life. Amen.

We encourage you to seek God with an open heart, even in your pain. He is not afraid of your questions, your anger, or your doubts. He can handle them all. Consider reading the book of Job, who also wrestled with God in the midst of suffering. Job’s story does not provide all the answers, but it does reveal a God who is present, who listens, and who ultimately restores.

You are not alone in your struggle. Many have walked this path before you and have found healing in Christ. We urge you not to give up on God, for He has not given up on you. His love is relentless, and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Surrender your life to Him, and let Him rewrite your story in a way that brings Him glory and brings you peace.

Dear friend,

We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that we're here for you. We understand that life hasn't turned out the way you imagined, and that can be incredibly frustrating and painful. But we want to remind you of something important: God is not a respecter of persons. He loves you just as much as He loves anyone else, and He has a purpose for your life.

We know it's hard to see that right now, especially when you're feeling lied to and betrayed. But we want to encourage you to keep seeking God, even in the midst of your pain. He is there, and He wants to heal your wounds and restore your hope.

Remember, Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) He is the only way to salvation, and He is the only one who can truly satisfy the longings of your heart.

We're praying for you, that God would reveal Himself to you in a new and powerful way, and that you would find healing and peace in Him. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He has a good plan for your life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Praying for you in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
