What is true religion?

Who will deny that true religion consists on loving the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul and loving others just as Jesus loved us.
Remember that religions of the world will never save anyone. Jesus alone will.

Come to Me and be saved... Jesus said.
I am the Door in which to enter heaven.

All Christians should take this to heart.

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this. To visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

I like to discern "religion" from "faith". Because there is also an evil spirit of religion who even operates amongst "faith believers" who distorts the word that we should be poor and goes around and hit people on their heads around with the Bible and scriptures without wisdom and love of God.....
Religions of this world on one side, and on the other side "faith in Jesus Christ".
Yes, that is true only Jesus gave His life for us, no buddha, no alah, no krishna....amen!! Glorious exchange on the Cross....it is a a whole sermon to listen about it what happened on the Cross....Derek Prince explains it good. God bless you Trenton!!

It just crossed my mind: religion is knowing rules and scriptures and faith is a personal relationship, intimacy with our Saviour. Not operating from our minds but from the heart/spirit of God. And for this to happen we must know also who we are in Jesus Christ and who and how God is: loving, forgiving, father who unconditionally loves us.Not a man with a beating stick.
