What is the meaning of life on earth?

I have come to give you life... Jesus said. But what kind of life are we having. Full of stress, full of worry, full of fear of the future.

Life is an adventure. Jesus sent us here for a reason. To be a blessing to everyone we find in the street, at home, at the bus station, at the airport and everywere we go.
Life is a deeper love with our heavenly Father who love us and cares for us.
Life should not be a tragedy for anyone. However, if anyone is going through trials and tribulations. Stop and think deeper and deeper. Why God is sending all these things to me?
Life is a struggle. We must face it every day of our life. Jesus is at the door waiting for us to open and to hear everything we have in our heart.
Life is a promise of eternal life. Thou shall not die, but live.... says the Lord.

So, meaning of our own existence is this. To love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul. And the love your neighbor as yourself.
In doing this we shall find true life full of peace, joy and happiness now and forever more.

Exactly, Brother Bernard -- it's both -- loving God and loving our neighbor. The Old Westminster Catechism written by Pastors and Theologians by order of The English Parliament after their Reformation in the 1500s said it this way:

Q. 1. -- What is the chief and highest end of man?
A. 1. -- Man's chief and highest end is to glorify God* and to enjoy Him forever.

To glorify God is to show what God is like, look like, image God, even as Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God (John 1:18, Col 1: 15, Heb 1:3).

The Westminster Shorter Catechism is a type of systematic teaching written in 1646 and 1647 by the Westminster Divines, made up of English and Scottish pastors, theologians and laymen who assembled to put in writing what England and Scotland were to believe once they were no longer a part of the Roman Catholic Church. This served as a major help to pastors, who at that time would visit the families of their congregation and check as to where they were in their understanding of Jesus Christ, what he came to do, what we are to believe concerning Him and what duties He requires from us. A version without Scripture citations was completed on November 25th, 1647 and presented to Parliament, and Scripture citations were added on April 14th, 1649.

Jesus clearly told us. Withou Me, you can do nothing. This is a true statement where we must and should trust and believe in Him alone and start loving Him with all our heart, mind and soul. For the glory of the Lord. Willingly we will suffer. And wherever He sends us We are willing to go...
