God gives us a wonderful illustration of love in 1 cor 13:4, because we beleive he is the creator of love it is prolly the best way to describe it. You have more than likely seen it on plaques etc popular for weddings etc. but read it again will you, it is true "Love is Patient, Love is kind, It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not self seeking ...... "basically it describes what love is. Love is putting others before you with their interest first, Jesus did just that on the cross for us. His life he gave for us. He is the perfect example of Love.
