What Is God's Purpose?

Is it to make us happy? N. O. no. If you think it is, you have some other lesser God mixed up for the real one. Job 35 says: "Moreover Elihu answered: Do you say My righteousness is more than God's? For you say What advantage will it be to God? What profit shall I have more than if I had sinned? I will answer you, And your companions with you. Look to the heavens and see; And behold the clouds which are higher than you. If you sin, what do you accomplish against Him? Or, if your transgressions are multiplied what do you do to Him? If you are righteous what do you give Him? Or what does He receive from your hand? Your wickedness affects a man such as you and your righteousness a son of man. Because of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry out for help because of the arm of the mighty. But no one says, "Where is God my Maker, Who gives songs in the night, who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, And makes us wiser than the birds of heaven? There they cry out, but He does not answer, because of the pride of evil men. Surely God will not listen to empty talk, Nor will the Almighty regard it. Although you say you do not see Him, Yet justice is before Him, and you must wait for Him. And now, because He has not punished in His anger, Nor taken much notice of folly, Therefore Job opens his mouth in vain; He multiplies words without knowledge." May you know with all sobriety that God is perfectly self-sufficient, and was this way from before He created all phenomenon and the stupid huge expanses of the cosmos. God pre-existed and He was perfectly content without you or me. He didn't create us because He was painfully lonely and bored. God did however, for an unrevealed reason, predestinate chosen people for an eternally long future with Him beyond the power of time. For those that are confused at this point, you must understand the definition of infinity. God in His magnificence is the only truly infinite person expanding His existence into eternal pre-existence as well as stretching eternally into the future as we do. Infinity is not a real number. It does deal with numbers, but we lack a complete definition of it because of the limits of the computing ability of the human brain. God was/is/will be forever unified in perfect harmony within the Trinity, communing, like a dance. God's purpose is literally, not poetically greater than the epitome of perfection. Because perfection has a limit. Perfection goes and has a stopping place, as does our understanding of God. But with the perception of God that we have we use to enjoy Him and lift up glory to Him up to the heavens beyond the stars!!! Go out tonight and look at the stars. The rest is between you and Him.

Amazing. I think I understand about 90% of what you are communicating. It's so awesomely wondrous to contemplate the actual nature of our Creator. I always start crying out loud whenever I allow my limited human brain to begin to fathom His infinitely faceted dimensions. Thank you for this, I think.
