We want to lift all these burdens before the Lord, but we must also speak truth in love, aligning our prayers with His Word and will.

First, we notice that while you mention "God" and "the blood of Jesus," there is no clear acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in your request. Scripture is clear: "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Salvation comes only through faith in Him, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. You desire a dog to bring joy and healing to your home. While pets can be a blessing, we must caution against placing too much hope in earthly comforts rather than in Christ. "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God" (Psalm 20:7). If this is a distraction from deeper spiritual needs, we rebuke that. However, we also pray that God would provide a companion for you that brings joy and peace, as long as it does not replace your dependence on Him.

You mention your daughter returning home, even if just for a visit. We pray for her safety, her heart, and her relationship with you. But we must also ask: Are there any ungodly influences or lifestyles in her life that need to be addressed? "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If she is living in sin, we pray for conviction and repentance. Father, draw her to Yourself and bring her home in a way that honors You.

You speak of healing for your offspring, spouses of their dreams, and a life without worries. While we long for these things, we must remember that true peace comes only from Christ. "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful" (John 14:27). Instead, we pray for your children to know Jesus personally, for godly spouses who love the Lord, and for contentment in Him alone.

You mention your teeth, work, and even learning to ski. While these are not sinful desires, we must ensure they do not become idols. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). Father, we ask for provision, healing, and joy in these areas, but only as they align with Your will.

Finally, you speak of "uncommon favor" and miracles. While God is indeed a miracle-working God, we must not treat Him like a genie who grants our every wish. "You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures" (James 4:3). The cry of your heart echoes the longing of every prodigal soul, for restoration, for connection, for the assurance that all is well with those we love and with our own standing before God. You ask of this one, and indeed, of your own life and the healing of relationships, of weddings and morning meals, of a little dog named ### and the secret hopes for your daughter. These are not small things to the One who numbers the very hairs of your head.

From the passages, this truth stands clear: full restoration is the hallmark of the Father’s embrace. When the prodigal returned, the father did not wait for the confession of unworthiness to be completed; with a kiss, he stopped the words, “Make me as one of your hired servants.” That kiss meant sonship was acknowledged, full and free. It was before the music, before the feast, immediate, personal, overwhelming love. So it is for every soul that turns to Him. He receives the penitent, worn out from wandering, and gladly welcomes them home. Do not doubt it: when you are in Christ, you are not a half-welcome guest, but a child brought near by the blood of Jesus.

You speak of miracles, a cute dog, a restored connection, the return of your daughter, teeth made whole, and a life lived in uncommon favor. These are the outworkings of a deeper rest, the Year of Jubilee for the soul, where debts are forgiven and the captive goes free. Our God is a refuge; it is one of the first signs of a chosen soul to know, by heavenly instinct, where safety lies. Yet remember, His blessings often come as we tarry in prayer. Prayer is one of the surest tokens that mercy is about to be received: “I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.” Lay every one of these desires before Him, the breakfast sandwiches, the skiing, the secret longings, and trust that He who noticed the sparrow’s fall cares for all that concerns you.

As for your daughter, remember that the family in heaven and earth is one. We are one family by the common bond of the covenant, ordered in all things and sure. Though death or distance may seem to separate, we are one household still. If she is far off, God can call her home as swiftly as He called the prodigal. Do not cease to plead for her, believing that the same love that restored Manasseh, that great sinner who passed his children through the fire, can reach where you cannot.

Some will say, “But I do not feel as I once did.” Feelings ebb and flow, but the sure ground is this: Christ has borne all that is due to sin for those who trust Him. If you look to the Savior, you see not one single virtue but a perfect confection of all spices, a balanced, complete Character. And there is life in a look at the crucified One, because there is life in a look from the crucified One. He sees the secret things; He knows the complications; He can untangle the heart. Trust in His finished work, and then live in the reality of forgiveness, freedom, and favor. You will not love what you once loved; old chains will fall away.

Therefore, bring all these secrets into the light of His countenance. Spare no darling sin in this season of merciful visitation, strike it down, for God struck sin when it was on His Son. And know that your utter powerlessness is no bar to His grace. The Father loves the returning child as if he had never grieved Him. This is the Gospel: full, free, and perfect restoration. Go in peace, and may the Lord grant you the desires of your heart as you delight in Him.

I see a heart brimming with desires, yet scattered like a flock without a shepherd. You ask about , you ask for a poodle, for your daughter, for healing, for teeth, for skiing, for uncommon favor, all wrapped in secret. But life is not a secret incantation; it is a morning battle, a daily storm at sea. We need prayer early and by night, not as a whispered wish list, but as a steady anchor for the soul. God knows your needs before you ask, yet He would have you first seek His kingdom and His righteousness.

You long for earthly comforts, a cute dog, a ski trip, nice teeth. These are not evil in themselves, but examine your heart. The Apostle teaches that in bodily necessities we ask only for what is needed; in spiritual things we should seek a large superabundance. Why then this noise about a poodle? God gave food for nourishment, not for giddy excess. Do not mistake fleeting whims for the peace that surpasses understanding. Instead, pray for the grace to be content with what you have, so that your joy may not hang upon a puppy or a vacation.

You mention a wedding healed, connections restored. If this is a marriage as God designed, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, then labor for it with prayer and with works. Both are needed. You say “with the blood of Jesus,” and that is the only ground for any healing. But do not treat that precious blood as a charm. Walk in obedience, forgive as you have been forgiven, and do your part. For if we sleep, even the prayers of the saints will not save us.

Your daughter, here is a worthy ache. Christ taught that some demons come out only by prayer and fasting. So pray, yes, and fast. Yet do not merely wait in secret. Rise up and prepare a room, not as a bribe, but as a sign of ready love. Epaphroditus risked his life to attend to Paul in prison; true love dares. If she is estranged, risk tenderness. If she is lost, seek her with the stubborn hope of the shepherd. Your secret prayer must become open mercy.

As for , you ask where life is in her. Entrust her to the God who sees. If you can search her out, do so with care. The body of Christ is knit so that when one member suffers, all suffer with it. But remember, you cannot bear every burden alone. Sometimes we must release even our cherished ones into the Father’s hands, trusting that He loves them more than we ever could.

You long for uncommon favor, for miracles, for a life you love with no worries. Yet the favor of God is not a secret key to earthly ease. It is the cross taken up daily. Jesus prayed at Lazarus’s tomb not because He needed the Father’s help, but to teach us that all true power flows from heaven. His prayer was open, for the sake of the people standing by. So bring your secrets into the light of community and confession. The early Church prayed earnestly together for Peter, and an angel freed him. There is no “secret” that can substitute for the humble, shared crying out of the saints.

Set your mind on things above. The teeth will decay, the snow will melt, even the sweetest dog will die. But he who does the will of God abides forever. Therefore, let your greatest miracle be a transformed heart. Seek first to be holy, to love your enemies, to make peace. Then all these things, the daily bread, the healed connections, the homecoming of your child, will be added in God’s time and way. Go now, and pray as Jesus taught: not with many words, but in spirit and in truth, with your life matching your lips.
