What happened to fish at the flood?

We read of the Flood, and God looked down and saw that mankind was evil, and of his thoughts were evil all the time. And He regretted that He had made man, and said, "I will destroy man I have created off the face of the Earth, man and every beast that creeps on the Earth, and flies overhead, and all that I created. But here's the curious thing--God created fish to swim in water. They have gills. How could you drown a fish? And if God created them to survive in water, if He destroyed them WITH water, wouldn't God be contradicting Himself? Either they were made to survive in water, or they would drown in water. How can they both be true? Uh huh? So, what happened to the fish during the flood?

I'll agree with you there, {last statement} but just saying, not everyone saying or posting the same thing has the same intention. Like I say, there are pastors who have call in shows, some call in for prayers, but others call in to ask about certain verses, what does this or that mean. It's not unheard of, or automatically done with bad intentions.

God was dealing with humans. Floods do destroy whatever is in its way and wash it away we see it.

Why did God give us a brain, if we just turn it off?

Why can't you just trust God, He doesn't want us to completely shut off our brain, just stop thinking about ourselves. Don't you trust God and God's thoughts of peace for you? It's a leap of faith ###

Well sometimes I worry about the uncertainty of things, and also what weakens my resolve is I get past one thing, then another troublesome situation comes up....past that, and not long to wait, another.....It's not like I'm making this up. 2}Bringing it on ourselves is not the ONLY way we cause problems, because look at Job. The Bible describes Job --"There was a man named Job from Uz, and he was perfect in all his ways". Yet he still suffered affliction. So there could be other causes besides bringing it on ourselves.

Some may experience those things, especially those who don't realize what they have in the Name Jesus. Some might get attacked by animals if they don't know that the beasts of the field can be at peace with them. Some don't know what power and authority that they have in Jesus because they don't follow His Instructions, do they?

No your words don't control everything, there have been those who prayed for something that wasn't God's will at the time, and they didn't get it. Even Jesus prayed, "Father, if possible, let this cup pass from me, BUT NOT MY WILL BUT YOURS BE DONE." He DIDN'T pray, "I know You'll answer my prayer, no matter what." It still has to be in accordance with God's will. Our "words" can't override God's will. Like prophecy.. certain things are prophesied to happen, like the Tribulation, Armageddon. So if you pray for it NOT to happen, your "words" would conflict with God's will, and so much for your words. What you're doing is more like New Age stuff, incorporated into Christianity. The "name it and claim it." Like ###. Telling you, pray for something that's not God's will, and see which wins out.
