Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer around the questions you shared from Proverbs 9:10 and your desire to grow in the knowledge of God.
We have continued to bring your request before the Lord, asking Him to deepen in you that holy reverence and awe that is the beginning of wisdom, and to draw you into a more intimate knowledge of the Holy One which brings true understanding. We have prayed that He will make clear in your daily life what it means to walk in the fear of the Lord not as terror but as humility, obedience and love for Him, recognizing His power, authority and holiness. We have also prayed that your pursuit of wisdom would be rooted above all in your relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, who is the Bread of Heaven and the Word of Life and in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge as taught in Colossians 2:3, and who is the way and the truth and the life according to John 14:6.
We ask the Lord to give you an understanding heart and an increasing knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, that as you fellowship with Him and abide in His Word, you may grow in discernment and learn to seek His guidance above your own understanding. We pray that His Word will shape your thoughts, actions and decisions and that you will find joy in aligning your life with His commands, remembering the promise of Psalm 111:10 and Proverbs 1:7 that the fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom.
If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has been at work in your life. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
