We rejoice with you in this exciting milestone of homeownership! It is truly a blessing from the Lord when He provides stability and comfort for His children. The Word tells us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow." (James 1:17). We give thanks to God for His provision and for the peace He has granted you and your family.

However, we must gently address some areas where your words do not fully align with biblical truth. First, while it is right to celebrate God’s blessings, we must be careful not to speak as though we control life by our own declarations. Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." Our words should reflect trust in God’s sovereignty, not our own power. The shield you mention is not our own strength but the Lord’s protection, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower." (Psalm 18:2). It is His favor, not our own, that secures our blessings.

We also notice your desire for a spouse, which is a godly longing. However, we must encourage you to seek a husband who fears the Lord, not merely one who fits a worldly description. "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised." (Proverbs 31:30). Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and the one you unite with should share your faith in Christ. Courtship should be pursued with purity, honoring God’s design for intimacy only within marriage.

Additionally, we must lovingly rebuke the spirit of mockery in your words toward others. The Bible instructs us, "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse." (Romans 12:14). Even those who oppose us deserve our prayers, not derision. Let your speech be seasoned with grace, as Colossians 4:6 says.

Lastly, we must emphasize that all blessings come through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Christ, repenting of sin and trusting in Him alone for salvation.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and provision in this sister’s life. We praise You for the home You have given her and for the stability it brings to her family. Lord, we ask that You continue to bless her with wisdom, peace, and contentment. Guard her heart from pride or self-reliance, and help her to trust fully in Your strength. Father, we pray for her desire for marriage, that You would prepare a godly man who loves You and will lead their family in righteousness. May their union be a testimony to Your grace and a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church. Teach her to speak with humility and kindness, blessing even those who oppose her. Above all, we pray that she would walk closely with You, finding her joy and identity in Christ alone. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord daily, saturating your mind with Scripture and surrendering every desire to Him. May your new home be a place of worship, rest, and godly fellowship. If you have not already, consider finding a local church where you can grow in faith and community. The Lord has great plans for you, walk in them with humility and joy!

What a joyful post! We’re celebrating with you, after all the moving and stress, finally having a home of your own is a gift. It’s deeply good to see you exhale like this, free from the weight that was so heavy, and we join your relief for you, your mom, your offspring, and those cats who’ll finally settle in.

A season of stability does something for the soul. As you unpack and make this space your own, we’d encourage you to keep the door of your heart wide open to the Lord who brought you here. He sees every dream you listed, your health, your voice restored, the good desire to marry a godly husband. Instead of rushing to fill every longing on your own, you can invite Christ to shape each step. Maybe your first act in that new home could be a quiet, simple prayer, dedicating each room to His peace and purpose.

That doesn’t mean life becomes effortless, but you have a solid place to stand now. Take your health goals one honest stride at a time (and do see a doctor if anything feels off), but let your confidence rest in the God who already covered you with His shield. He knows the man you’re waiting for, and He knows the exact timing that will make you glad you trusted.

We’re praying with you now.

Jesus, thank You for this fresh start and for the safety and breathing room You’ve given this family. Let this home be a haven of rest and laughter. Restore health, strengthen voice, and bring wise, godly relationships. Guide this dear one toward a marriage that honors You, and meet every practical need according to Your riches. Keep them in Your uncommon favor and steady joy. In Your name, amen.

The high tree, green in its own estimation, shall be cut down by the axe of judgment, and the low tree, by divine grace, shall flourish. Beware of boasting in a day of ease as though your own shield had worked this deliverance, for the Lord exalteth the low tree and abaseth the proud. You speak of enemies giving up and the odds not being in their favor, yet what says the Scripture? The arch-enemy will fly away confounded from you if you are able to resist him while darkness covers your soul. If you conquer him in your hour of grief, you conquer indeed. Do not let all your prayer run after deliverance from sorrow, but first of all pray, "Let not any iniquity have dominion over me." Seek first the kingdom of God and obedience to Him, and then deliverance shall be added unto you.

This talk of mute, deaf, dumb, numb haters betrays a heart not yet fully at rest in Christ. The first thought of reconciliation was not with man, but with his God. We love because He first loved us. Be ready to forgive even as you hope to be forgiven. The release the Lord desires is that every man release his debtor. If you would have the God of your mercy prevent you with favor, then let mercy be in your own mouth and toward those you call enemies. The honor of divine grace in a Christian is when we have so acted that we have obeyed in detail, not forgetting any point of duty, and forgiveness is a chief duty.

A home of wood or afloat on water is a mercy, yet the eternal God is your true refuge, your dwelling place. At home one feels safe, and for home a man works and labors. But let this first anxiety be to enter the kingdom, to be a loyal subject of divine rule. Seek you first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, a toaster, a pool, a Charger, a fine ass guy to marry, these are not first. Be first a man of God, then let these things be added or subtracted as heaven pleases. The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish, but the green tree deserted by the dew of heaven shall dry up. Your comfortable life, your clear thoughts, your tanned skin, your attractive voice, all this is vanity if your soul is not hidden in the sweet savor of Christ's merits alone. Christ's merits are most holy, purely offered unto God, no selfishness, no worldliness, everything divine.

You end with the blood of Jesus, and that is the one true plea. Yet simple as it seems, it needs a divine art to bring a soul to rest simply upon Christ. The sinner wearied in many attempts still clings to the delusion that he shall deliver himself. The Lord accepts the persons of His people only through that sweet savor. Do not imagine the enemy to be your former landlord or the one who envied your progress, the last enemy, death, remains to be destroyed. He is the enemy, the very worst, but Christ has overcome him. Count your present home as a tent, a wayside inn, for you are yet on pilgrimage until that final enemy is swallowed up in victory. Desire, dear friend in Christ, to be such a savor of His grace, that your entrance into the joy of your Lord may be bestowed according to that same divine favor which is in Christ Jesus, by which He has accepted you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of finally getting a home, and you rejoice as if your rest has come. But there remains a rest for the people of God, and it is not found in walls or a trailer or a houseboat. He exhorts you not to harden your heart, for if there were no rest beyond this life, those warnings would never have been given. Do not seek your rest here, lest you suffer the same exclusion as those who set their hope on earthly things. Because of the hope laid up in heaven, we rejoice that you are securing a noble reception there, if you do not change from the word of truth you once heard.

Why do you make provision for the flesh, to fulfil its lusts? I do not forbid drinking, but drinking to excess; not marrying, but doing wantonness. Yet you cry out for a Dodge Charger, a toaster, a pool with beach sand, a fine man to marry after getting a tan and an attractive voice. This is not providing for health, but kindling desire. The present life is a sleep, and its dreams worse than those of the night. The shame of a dream vanishes with waking, but here, the shame and the punishment are immortal. Even before the day of judgment, the dreams fly away, and you are left empty.

Consider why your need lasted so long and caused such stress. He did not supply on the first day, but waited until all your own provision was spent, so that having first been in want, you might the more eagerly accept His work. Will you now turn His deliverance into an occasion for wantonness?

You speak of enemies and jelly haters, boasting that the odds were not in their favor and that they have become mute and dumb. But lest any man fail of the grace of God, do you not care for him for whom Christ died? Even for one, He died. Is this your shield working greatly: to mock those who perish? Women who labored in the gospel were commended not for such things, but for their good deeds. A true yokefellow is recognized by love for the brethren, not by triumph over adversaries.

Do not think that because you have obtained a house and possessions, you have secured the first seat. Were you to suffer martyrdom for the gospel, yet without the full measure of other virtues, even that would not give you the highest place. How then can a toaster and a pool, attained with little struggle, make you blessed?

Set your mind on the hope laid up in heaven, where your name might be written in the book of life. Make provision for your flesh only for health, and spend your whole industry on spiritual things. Then you will not be weighed down with these manifold desires, and you will inherit the true rest, where no enemy can enter and no affliction can come.

What a joyous overflow I hear in your words! I truly celebrate with you that after all the moving and stress, a place to call your own has finally arrived. The sense of God's protection and the lifting of a long burden is something to shout about. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word over us than our circumstances, and I'm glad you're holding onto that.

As you step into this new season, I find myself thinking about what it means to be at home, not just in a building, but in God's heart. Through Christ, we've been adopted into a family that spans heaven and earth. That's a staggering reality: we are sons and daughters, not outsiders. But I've learned that God doesn't just want to provide us with a roof and a toaster; He wants to settle down and make Himself completely at home in our hearts. There's a difference between having Jesus as a guest we tip-toe around and having Him fill every room of our lives, feeling at ease, nothing hidden. Do you ever pause to ask if He's comfortable in your heart, or if there's a subtle tension because of things we cling to? This might be the perfect moment to fling open every door and let His presence reorder everything.

You mentioned a shield and uncommon favor. That reminds me how blessing works in Scripture. It's not like Isaac, who nearly gave the birthright blessing for a bowl of stew his son brought him, simply because it tasted good. God's blessing rests on His long-range purposes, not just on our immediate cravings. Jacob, for all his conniving, had to flee home at seventy years old. Yet God shaped him through all that wrestling. I'm not saying you have to wait until you're seventy for good things, but that the things we often chase, the Dodge Charger, the pool, the marriage, are not the main blessing. The real blessing is the birthright: being conformed to the image of Christ. It's easy to let the cares and excitement of this world, and the desire for other things, crowd out the word of God, leaving us spiritually stuck, attending but not bearing fruit. I'd gently ask: in this new home, with all these wonderful plans, could you make space for His word to take root so deeply that everything else finds its proper place?

That list of hopes is so understandable after a season of stress. A houseboat, a tan, a healed voice, a fine husband, all are gifts God knows about. Yet the deepest refreshment is having your mind truly cleared and your heart set free by Jesus. The miracle stories in the Gospels show Him touching lepers and fevers, not just because He could, but to reveal the Father's heart. He is willing. He sees your frame, He knows the exhaustion. But His healing doesn't stop with a poolside tan; He touches the places in our soul that drive us to chase after endless "more." The new wine of His Spirit requires a new wineskin, a flexible, surrendered heart that doesn't try to patch up an old garment with self-effort. You're in a new place now. Let it be a fresh work, not a replay of the same striving under a different roof.

I hear the wound behind the words about "jelly haterzzz" and enemies. It's painful when people misunderstand or oppose us. But here's the surprising truth: the family of God, born of the Spirit, becomes closer than any natural blood-tie. When you commit to Jesus, you may face alienation from some, but you gain a household where love and fellowship run deeper. You are not alone, and you don't need to escape in secret. The shield of faith really does work, not by making us invisible to trouble, but by guarding our peace so we don't have to live in defensive mode. Pray for those who have hurt you; it will do wonders for your own soul.

You finished with the blood of Jesus. That's everything. Not a phrase to tack on, but the foundation. So I pray that over you: may the blood that purchased your adoption also shape your desires. May your new home be a place where Christ's presence is more cherished than any gift. May He heal your voice to sing His praise before you sing for anyone else. And may you discover that the greatest blessing is having Him formed in you, clear mind, pure heart, eternal home, so that whether the pool looks like a beach or not, you know you are uncommonly loved. Walk in that peace.
