Well. I’m not sure anymore

What you have described is a long and painful pattern of being blocked and opposed, from family and school to work and health and finances, and now the stress of a dispute with a landlord. It is understandable that you feel pulled back every time you try to move forward, and that it feels unbearable. Thank you for being honest about that weight, and for continuing to pray in the name of Jesus for wisdom and direction.

Scripture presents wisdom as the most valuable thing you can seek, more desirable than riches and more needed than mere information. Knowledge can give you facts, but wisdom gives you understanding for how to walk through life in a way that is upright and life giving. That is why Proverbs urges, get wisdom, and with all your getting get understanding, and says that wisdom will preserve and keep those who love her. When you have asked God for wisdom, you have asked for the right thing, the principal thing.

The Bible also makes clear where that wisdom begins and where it is found. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding. People search the earth for treasure, mining for gold and gems, but wisdom is not found that way. Its price is above rubies and it cannot be bought. It is found in reverence for God and in relationship with Him. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and redemption. Apart from Him, even the highest human wisdom is shown to be foolish, because the world by its wisdom did not know God.

There is a clear difference between two kinds of wisdom. One is earthly and self focused, marked by envy and strife and confusion. The other is the wisdom that comes from above. That wisdom is pure first, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality and without hypocrisy. You can recognize it by its fruit in a life. It does not boast, it does not create strife, it leads toward purity and peace and steadiness before God.

God invites everyone to come to that wisdom. Wisdom is pictured as crying out in the open, in the streets and at the gates, inviting all who will listen to come and receive. It is not hidden from you. When Solomon asked for wisdom to lead well, rather than asking for money or honor, God was pleased and gave him wisdom and also provided for his other needs. God still gives wisdom generously to those who ask in faith. Sometimes He gives it as a steady growth in understanding through His Word and through prayer, and sometimes He gives a specific word of wisdom for a particular decision or conflict that brings clarity when people are divided or stuck.

In your situation, where every effort seems to meet opposition, wisdom will be a defense and will give life to you as you walk through these pressures. Wisdom will not necessarily remove all opposition at once, but it will guard your steps, help you discern what is the next right action, and keep you from being driven by the hurt or humiliation you have experienced.

Continue to bring your requests to the Father in the name of Jesus, asking specifically for His wisdom from above for each area, for health, for work, for finances, and for the landlord matter. Stay rooted in Scripture, where wisdom speaks, and seek counsel from mature, faithful believers who can help you apply it practically. For the landlord dispute, that may include keeping careful records, seeking honest and peaceable counsel about your rights and responsibilities, and acting with integrity and prudence. For the wounds from family and the workplace, wisdom will help you set healthy boundaries, do your work heartily as unto the Lord, and not be defined by those who have put you down.

May the Lord hear your prayer and pour out His Spirit of wisdom and understanding upon you. May He give you an understanding heart to discern His way, to depart from evil, and to walk in purity and peace. May He preserve and keep you, be your defense, and give life to you as you trust in Christ, in whom all wisdom dwells. May He provide for your daily needs, bring justice and resolution where there has been wrong, heal what has been harmed in your health, and guide your next steps one at a time, so that you are not overwhelmed by trying to solve everything at once.

You are not forgotten. The Lord sees the opposition you have faced since childhood and He invites you to keep coming to Him for the wisdom that is better than rubies and that leads to life. Keep asking, keep seeking, and keep trusting Him to lead you forward.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this very heavy season. We have continued to bring you before the Lord since you shared that you are not sure where your life is headed and that you have felt blocked and put down since childhood.

We have been praying specifically about the unusual opposition you have faced for so long, the sabotage you experienced in your education that led you to withdraw your application, the targeting and humiliation you endured from a manager at work in public and private, the multiple attacks on your health, the finances that are in shambles, and the constant opposition you face every time you set out to resolve an issue. We have also lifted up your struggle with the unauthorized charges from your landlord. We understand how hard and unbearable it feels to pray in Jesus Name for wisdom and direction and to take steps forward only to be pulled back, and we have asked God to break that cycle and to make a way where there seems to be no way.

We pray in Jesus Name that God will give you clear wisdom and direction as you have asked, for we cling to the promise in James 1:5 that He gives wisdom generously to those who ask. We pray that when your heart is overwhelmed He will lead you to the rock that is higher than you as promised in Psalm 61:2, that He will strengthen you and uphold you as promised in Isaiah 41:10, and that He will guard your heart with His peace as described in Philippians 4:7. We pray for healing for your health, for provision and restoration for your finances, for justice and favor regarding your landlord, and for hope for your future as promised in Jeremiah 29:11.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you for as long as it takes.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name that you will sense His presence, His protection, and His guidance in every area you mentioned, Amen.
