Well I have to go into work tomorrow and you have no idea how bad I feel. I know those people I work with hate me and want me out of the office so their friend can have my job.

The way they talked to my boss about me and feel just kills me. The stress from this job is unbearable. I have cried all weekend over this issue. And believe me I have tried and tried to find another job. They are just not out there. Please pray for me before I lose my mind over this stuff. My heart is broken and I just do not understand why God has not moved me yet??? Lord Jesus please hear my prayer and give me another job...please Jesus please. I just can not do this any more. Please pray for me -- my family is depending on my little check I make from this job. i can not let them down.....Oh how I hurt....Jesus please please help us.

If it is any consolation, I was in a similar situation years ago. Was receptionist in convalescent home. The woman who was head receptionist was doing terrible job, but everyone just loved her. On top of that, they could not stand the new boss, mainly because she would not let them call her by her first name. Eventually, the new boss amassed enough written grounds to fire Hilda, and she hired me on the spot to take Hilda's place. Many people at this home really liked me, but many of them never got over the fact that Hilda got fired. My life was made miserable, especially after my boss quit, leaving me in the lurch. But I lived through it, and I found myself a way better job. I pray God will do this for you too -- and soon. I pray you are able to hang on until you find a better job. I pray these people will stop bad mouthing you and that your boss will have enough sense to see right through them. I also pray you go in there and do an excellent job every day and keep your head up high. I pray in the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Amen and amen.

P.S.:  I know it is not easy, but maybe you should pray for their souls as well. That is a bad, bad sin to try to take away somebody's livelihood because you have a buddy that needs a job. Just awful

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
